I have been shooting police 3-gun matches and they are pretty loose on what's on your gun. Pretty much if you use in on the street then you can shoot it. I am shooting an AR-15 A3 with a C-More tactical sight that has the red dot and irons. Reminton 870 with tube extension and side saddle with rifle sights. And I have a G35 limited gun. My question is what class would I be shooting in with those gun set ups? I have seen guys shooting with scopes and irons on the side of the gun etc..... I would rather not shoot against those guys so I am wondering if I would be better off throwing my irons on my rifle and having those only if my red dot and iron combo throws me into some kind of open category. Sorry for the rookie question but I am finally wanting to start competing outside of the police competitions. I have just recently started shooting USPSA pistol matches but my true love is really 3-gun.

So anyone have it. Is it worth it if you know what your doing. I'm a Glock Armorer so is it over my head. Looks pretty simple to install but does it work.

I hope to not start a small war with this but I am looking for a race holster and mag pouches for shooting Limited with my G35. I am having a ruff time finding mag holders on the web built for competition but I'm guessing that is just because I am looking in the wrong places. I have seen the Safariland ones on this sight and they look good. Now holsters there seems to be a ton of them. The Safariland 007 Ghost Pinless Hogue Powerspeed Universal Speed Holster Rescomp CR Speed 2001 with Versahanger These are the ones I have found so far.... Price is not a huge issue.. Practicality and durablility are. I also don't want the thing fallen off everytime I go to pick up brass and tape either. Thanks for any guidance.

So I have been reading alot but didnt see a post reference having a tungston (sp?) guide rod. I shoot fatory ammo, well because its free for me. Speer Lawman 180 grain. I just ordered a new tungston guide rod for my G35 and a set of springs in 13, 15, and 17. So which one do you guys think I should use. Seems from what I have read 15 sounds like a winner. Please let me know what ya think.
