I have removed silicone carbide from 3 grips, started with a dremel and ended up using a small flat head screwdriver, and different picks. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I had to widen channel where the slide goes front to back. It would drag and slow the slide down. Where the slide stop goes through the frame between the outside and the contoured part Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
When you remove the mainspring housing the sear spring will come out. If you're not comfortable taking it apart I would send it back to your Smith. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I would take it apart so you dont grind up that new grip. You have to leave enough to catch the tab that holds it in place. Then it has to go back together correctly. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Looks like the tab from the sear spring is extended through. I would think it would have to be adjusted or trimmed. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Someone had listed a tungsten magwell in classifieds a while back. It was really heavy, this looks identical, but not sure of they made light ones as well. Can't remember the maker. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I use a metal hanger for 1 of the retaining pins, works perfect. Take a clothes hanger cut to length and start bending. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I've got 3 of the same pads, you can use them on 126mm tubes and get 18 to 19 rounds. I have seen pictures of them on old svi tubes, old sti tubes, and on some old para tubes. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
