  1. THE BEST THUMB REST SLIDE STOP AVAILABLE. NEW FOR 2019 *Every opinion of the NITRO FIN 1.0 (2012 design) was used in creating the Shooting Sports Innovations Nitro Fin 2.0. Listed below are the main key changes. -THUMB REST PAD REDESIGN: It's 0.150 WIDER, This came from the USPSA Open shooters mainly.. They needed it wider to compensate for the scope mount. We understand everyone has a different thumb and it's curved, so a flatter pad angle increased the surface area. We undercut and reduced the rear section of the pad to eliminate any discomfort shooting weak handed. -PIN QUALITY OVERHAUL: We changed our methods of machining the pins. This resulted in a no taper, tighter toleranced pin. Now 0.1995 with a 0.00025 tolerance. Longer pin to aid in removal and for wider frames. -SLIDE TAB CALIBRATION: We increased the height and changed it's shape to not contact Grams followers. Also put a nice radius on that tab to aid in installation. -LOWER THUMB SHIELD: Some reported hitting the shield when racking the slide. We lowered it to the min height. -REAR DETENT BLOCK: We averaged all the frames we could measure and made a recessed block to capture your slide stop plunger. Ever experienced the slide locking back while shooting weak hand? Kiss that problem good bye Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. Nitro fin 2.0 already has safety detent, that is part of the difference from the original. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. I have sold several old 140mm svi magazines with svi competition followers, ismi springs, and dawson, or tti pads all in 40 s&w all 19 or 20 reloadable. $100 per mag is what I got. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. Do you shoot without riding safety with thumb? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. You could also check out Dawson Precision they have some tuned edges for sale. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  7. That grip is not moving once you grab it, it did come out a little chunky. Definitely does what it's supposed too. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for sharing. Did you end up going with that pattern on your final project? Nope just wanted to try a different tip out. I ended up using an old SVI grip. 1st stippled then silicone carbide. 1st pic was a really light layer of adhesive, 2nd pics were after I added another coat. For my 1st try using silicone carbide i was happy. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. How aggressive do you want to go? I have an SPS grip I bought cheap, way different than the STI grip. What I mean is the SPS grip is easier to stipple. In my experience the SPS is softer when it comes to stippling. The STi is much harder, have to keep the heat on longer. I'll show you an example of the SPS that I was playing with. It is SUPER AGGRESSIVE! Must promise not to laugh, I was trying different tips, one being a bullseye. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. Thank you for the quick response! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. I cant find a definitive answer, reading through the rule book so here it goes. Is it legal for me to have a barrel tin coated for production? I see the ruling on slides and frames, but nothing specific on barrels. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
