  1. Just weighed it. 7.6 oz for thr steel Akai magwell
  2. It's a steel magwell. I had to recontour the prodigy lip. Not sure on overall weight. I can weigh the magwell
  3. Here's the pic of my SV with range panda rest and ghost hydra p. Had to heat it up and form it to fit gun
  4. Sorry let me make a correction. I have the hydra p not the hydra. Still does not fit my SVI with frame mounted thumbrest. Maybe its my shim. I place a thick shim to cover all the frame mount optic hole and to make sure there's some spacing to not rub on slide. You can modify it to fit if you heat and mold the shroud Will fit thumb rest that replace the slide stop like a nitrofin.
  5. Yep toss them. They're cheap enough to do so. Same with glock pmags. I don't even think anyone sells replacement pmag springs
  6. Using #2 with green. Found it to be perfect size
  7. I have a nitrofin on a prodigy. Use a Ghost Hydra holster Range Panda on my SVI. It was a converted open which i converted back to LO. Uses a DAA Flex holster. The Ghost Hydra does not fit. Is the Staccato drill and tapped for a thumb rest?
  8. I use a thumb rest on my lo guns. Problem with a frame mount thumb rest is your holster selection. Pretty much stuck with a race holster. A lot of the LO I've seen are Staccatos/prodigy with their tactical timmy safariland holster. No provision for frame mount thumb rest or even for a nitrofin. Those that are gaming do run thumbrest with a race type holster. As for rackers, well my optic makes for a nice racker. Others just rack it like any other gun.
  9. https://thegunco.com/the-cadre-comp/ Or have the slide/barrel ported by Vulcan machine werkz or DSC gunworks Aim for a higher power factor like 145 to work the comp. I ran an open glock like this it shot pretty good
  10. Here's mine Completely redone it. Still have to throw an optic on. Maybe cerakote later. I replace the firing pin with a Dawson extended FP. Added an Atlas tool-less guide rod with a 9 lb recoil spring SVI Prodigy ignition kit Red Dirt trigger shoe Nitro fin Atlas ambi safety LSI Outlaw grip/magwell The LSI grip had to be fitted since i orginally bought this grip for my SV Infinity gun. Beaver tail blended to frame as well. The Nitro fin is a gen 2 which had also had to be fitted. Trigger pull weight averaged 1 lb, 9 oz.
  11. I did mine to fit prodigy. The front had to be grind down to fit in the prodigy frame. A little on the back to fit contour of frame as well. Wasn't too bad. Used a dremal and took my time. Fits nicely.
  12. Ok updated my post with right link Part number is 519-1046
  13. I got this one from dawson for my prodigy. Fits flush and I will add a brazos cyclone button. I don't like how light the spring is so i will change it out with an Atlas extra power spring https://dawsonprecision.com/search.php?search_query="519-1046"&section=product
  14. Don't want to take away from your project but I just finished building out my recently acquired Prodigy. On the slide I replaced the guide rod with an Atlas tool-less. 9# recoil spring. The Cheely extended firing didn't fit. Kept getting caught up in the breech hole. On the lower I put in an SVI ignition kit. Added a red dirt trigger. Just like you I had to clean up the trigger track. Fitted an Atlas ambi shielded safety. Added a 17# main spring. Total trigger pull averaged 1- 3/4 lb. I had an older SSI Nitrofin and had to do some grinding for it to fit. Lastly I also had an Akai stainless magwell so I took to grind the poly grip to fit.

I agree with this. If you sorted by head stamp that may help identifying the issue with wide coal gap. If not than try new brass. Just buy 200 pieces and load them up and see. I still have a feeling that it's your set up. Outside of loading for major matches I exclusively use mixed brass and don't have the wide coal issue that you have. The only time I had an issue with coal was when i swapped to a different die which was a reading competition pro series

Something is going on with your reloading quality control. That's too wide of a spread on coal. I reload with mixed brass for my wife's Czechmate and it's nowhere near as bad as yours. My spread with mixed brass is 1.155‐1.165". Also sounds like you need to roll size your brass or use an under sized sizing die. Also is your seating die seating the bullet crooked?
  17. Check to see if Patriot Defense can mill it. I know they mainly do tanfo slides but they do list CZ slides. They did my .40 tanfo slide for 507 Comp. Direct mill with recoil bosses. No plate.
  18. I bought a used tanfo. 40 slide since I still have a bunch of .40 brass and bullets during my time in limited division. Just got it back from having it milled for a dot I shot production with a P226 using a minor load and it was enjoyable
  19. My wife runs one on her lynx belt. Little tight but works
  20. Here's my SV. Originally was a 9mm iron sight gun for 3 gun. Last year I sent it off to be converted to an open gun. Had the slide milled for a racker. So that's why there is a gap
  21. Sent him my SV slide last week. He just contacted me with the finish work and shipping out tomorrow Two week turnaround. Interesting enough they have a rear sight that mounts on top of SRO or 507 for those that want BUIS
  22. Also 2011 guns used longer ammo which helps lower the pressure.
  23. I prefer CZC because it doesn't use a set screw like the springer ones. But I use the MBX mags now. No mag tuning and runs straight out of the box
