Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I do like my staccato but instead of putting money in to it beyond a different trigger, i'm going to take that money and buy a different LO gun. The staccato is probably all the gun I really need TBH. I was looking at an XL but after getting the grip changed to metal the price was around a DS9 anyways.
  2. With a budget of $4000 for just the pistol, no optics or mags, are there any better options than the Masterpiece Arms DS9 Limited Optics Comp? I shot one a few weeks ago and am fairly impressed.
  3. Its what ive been wanting to do but I dont have an atlas so I need to find a gunsmith to drill and tap my frame. You might be able to save some time if you have a trusted gunsmith local to you.
  4. If you want a thumb rest buy the atlas frame mounted and have that installed by them.
  5. We shot together a few weeks ago at CTASA Indoor. Wont be at XMG this weekend sadly.
  6. Not drilled and tapped looking to get it done though, Just need to find a decent rest.
  7. While I run a lowly Staccato I do at least run the race holster. What thumb rests are you running?
  8. Happen to know any one in Texas who can drill and tap a frame for a thumb rest?
  9. Shooting in Fort Worth mostly. Could be that limited optics is still overshadowed by carry optics here so people have not committed to full blown LO guns.
  10. Wonder why more people are not running slide rackers or thumb rests in Limited Optics? I know most platforms aren't built for these modifications but still see some decent options on the market for aftermarket installs. To me if they allow you to have an advantage why not take it.
  11. Im Aaron, New to the USPSA scene in DFW! I have been shooting for quite a while but just only got in to the competitive scene! I love shooting, going fast and winning so USPSA is a natural fit! Currently shooting LO around Fort Worth when I can!
