Not sure what your talking about 2 throws but I have 2 PCC loads.
1 for BB 125 practice and 1 for PD 124 match.
Haven't had any leading issues with BB in my JP GMR15 but then I spray my comp down with lube before practice and take brake cleaner to it after.
Working for uncle sugar, jumping out of perfectly good aircraft, shooting all kinds of cool stuff, blowing things up, eating snakes and drinking up most of my money.
Man I miss those days
Blood lead level is part of the blood test panel I get every year and short of the year I was shoot at an indoor range every week my results have been within normal range, whatever that is.
The 1 bad year it was something like 23.
We use chipped limestone, with or without dust.
I would recommend a permeable underlayment and box the whole range with landscape timbers to keep it from washing away or disappearing into the dirt.
I am thinking about changing out my Ace for a Magpul adjustable.
It gets cold (adding layers) and I have to take off the but pad which I never remember to do till I hit the line.
Other than that I like the Ace.
I use Nooks with an Ipad master but as or when the Nooks die we are thinking about replaceing them with Kendal fires or Ipad minis..
I have run a couple tests with a standard fire and they worked fine, easier to read than the mini, not sure about battery life but a hand warmer should help in colder temps.
Think he meant velocity not power load.
To get back on track.
I suspect cost is the primary.
I shot 40 minor in production and while the bigger hole was nice at times it felt like the slide was slower (even with a lighter spring).
Time was a little better with my 9 vs 40.
