  1. Very true. You do not fight through the taser.
  2. She did you a favor leaving when she did.
  3. In Florida, it is a crime to even ask someone to void a ticket. That eliminates some of the "good ole boy" as well--and could explain why the Lt was not able to help. I'm not sure if calling the State Attorney would do any good here. There is no SA at the hearing, only you, your attorney (if you hire one), the officer, and any witnesses either side may have. The hearing is not even done before a judge. It's done before a "Hearing Officer" who is an attorney.

    Ebay

The only questionable experience I've had with e-bay involved an auction that I did not win. I got a "Second Chance" offer the following day. I read that the winner could not follow through with their end of the bargain, and it asked if I was still interested. It was a pretty sorry attempt at a scam though because the message came from someone who was neither the seller nor the winner of that auction. I reported them to e-bay and they closed down that accout. Don't know if they took any other action.
  5. I hate it when things like this happen. It makes all of us (law enforcement) look bad. That's pretty crappy to give a ticket for someone with another state's official tag (temporary or otherwise). I can't give any advice on how to handle it as the laws in Florida may be different than in Ky.
  6. I got Microsoft's Flight Simulator X for Christmas, but have several questions about it. The instructions were not as helpful as I would have liked. Does anyone know how it works? Specifically: On previous versions of Flight Sim, I could change aircraft in midflight quite easily. I cannot figure out how to do it on the new version without ending the flight and starting a completely new one. Anyone know if there is a way to do this?

    Advice Needed

Wondering if any of you can help with my dilemma? I would be most grateful for any advice you could give on this matter of deep concern to me, as I am now in two minds about what to do. For sometime now I've suspected that my girl maybe having an affair. You know the sort of thing. The phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. Recently she has started going out 'with the girls' a lot and when I ask which girls it's always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always used keep an eye out for her taxi coming home, but now she always walks up the street, although I can hear a car setting off as if she has just got out of one around the corner. The other day I picked up her mobile, just to see what time it was, and she went mental, screaming at me that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. I kind of think deep down I don't really want to know the truth. But then last night she went out again and I decided that I would check up on her. I hid behind my car which I knew would give me a good view of the whole street so I could see which car she got out of on her return. It was whilst I crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch. Do you think I should take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from AutoZone and try to repair it myself?

This about sums it up right here. ...and the closest thing to a knockout in the Sylvia/Arlovski was me trying not to fall asleep. zzzzzzzzzz.
  9. Now you just knocked me back to 50:50. Before, I was not taking into account the fact that you could take no action at all. If I look above, I see six possible outcomes, three of which win.
  10. I was convinced it was 50:50 until it was explained this way. I don't see any other permutations.
  11. Hey! I'm still here! By the way, THANKS! 99 today, but still young as ever.

    Women

Come to Tallahassee, home of the beautiful--and I do mean beautiful--Florida State University. I'm sure you will find it to your liking.
  13. I gradually tightened the chain until it eventually broke. It never reliably returned the powder disc, but I have mine worked out now. Thanks.
  14. I have been reloading with a Pro 1000 for about 15 years. My original one was in .45 ACP and never failed me. When I started shooting .40, I found it was easier just to buy another entire reloader in .40 (and not that much more expensive). I found I had trouble with this one and the trouble was centered around how the powder measure discs did their thing. The new one had a different kind of mechanism. It had a lever that moved the disc to dump the powder in the empty casing, and a chain that returned it to the powder hopper. The chain returning it to the hopper did not function very well at all. As a result, the disc would not get fully back into position, and it could not completely fill back up with powder. I never had a problem with too much powder, but I would get varying degrees of too little powder (or none at all). The mechanism on my .45 loader operates with a spring and works much better. I found that this mechanism was interchangable with the .40 loader, so I put it on it and now I have no trouble at all (I rarely reload .45 anymore, but if I do, I'll just switch it back). So essentially, if you have the chain type disc return, this could be causing the problem, and if you can get the spring type, that may fix it.
  15. I think no one's complaining, just joking around. I know if I thought I was doing this for the money, the difference between $30 and $100 wouldn't make much difference anyway.
  16. There was a thread about a batch of classifier cards that were messed up. Here it is.
  17. Doesn't seem like it. My shooting partner and I both got $75. He won high master limited and I won high C limited.
  18. 84% 32 miles 339 seconds. It seems like the order you get them in can either help you or hurt you.
  19. The blood. They must have photoshopped it out.
  20. This was at last years Area 6 in Limited 10. Are the distances the same?
  21. I see that my shooting partner Razz represented the team. High Master Limited. 4th overall. Great job!

    Man Cannon

Gotta agree with you on this one.
  23. Do you prefer 9mm? If you have no preference, I would suggest Glock 35. The .40 will allow you to shoot the same gun (and be competitive) in production, limited, or limited 10 if you want.
