  1. It felt "too close" for me , so I've changed right side one for a flat one , just in case
  2. You can shoot higher then you're classified I beleive , but not other way around. But I do agree with match bumps comment I went from marksmen to expert in 2 major matches
  3. Got another 3k coming from Acme
  4. Well, I did some testing with 2 9mm guns and didn't see significant difference between .356 and .357.
  5. Isn't CZ Shadow ESP legal.? It has full rail.
  6. Yes , it's a great idea. Since you can use aftermarket basepads on mec gar mags ,but not on CZ 10 rounders
  7. Make sure your homeowners insurance premiums are paid.
  8. At 2.8 they don't make power factor out of my GP and don't cycle 100%. I run them about 3.2. However have a 2.8 load for BUG division with my XDs
  9. You only need 1 double or 2 single mag pouches and holster for IDPA. Probably better off having 2 sets. If you get something like safariland ELS system , you can use same setup in USPSA and 3gun
  10. It depends a lot on the gun. Did a little testing with xtreme ,factory and blue bullets out of Xcalibur. Then I did same thing with Arsenal strike one and got surprising results
  11. Yo can pretty much use any spring , as long as it fits. You can cut it down to customize it. Not sure how accurate at 50 yards , but I'm pretty sure it's more about th shooter then gun.
  12. 60 th overall , 7th in class. Not the greatest ,but not worst either. It was challenging match. Flashlight needs new batteries , got lots of use.
  13. Here is some highly scientific testing.
  14. What kind of competition shooting you are looking to do ? For example Xcal is not legal for IDPA , but is production legal for uspsa. XTrim is good for both ....
  15. It's gonna get a work out at Indoor nationals. I've sent my GP XTrim slide to Dawson precision to fit new front sight , which is my primary IDPA gun and since Xcalibur isn't legal for IDPA ,I've decided Strike one is it. Might have little issue with having only 3 magazines , but I'm sure I'll manage. I'll report after the weekend.
  16. So, what exactly is 10mm good for ? I understand self Defence ,hunting ...,but in competition? What can it do that .40 can't ?
  17. Coming from NY , laws are screwed up here as well. Lol. I've shot BUG match there last year
  18. Who's going and who's going from NY or thru NY? I got in last minute , got email, this morning that I got spot on Friday if I want it . Obviously I cleared my schedule , but my GP XTrim slide is at Dawson to fit new front sight and I don't think they will let me shoot Xcalibur , but I'll bring it anyway. I guess I'll be shooting Arsenal Strike one and bring my Sig 226 as back up.
  19. For $200 I'd say it's worth it. I have one and although there are better gun , this one is great for pocket carry or sneaky Pete holster. Trigger is long and heavy , but it smooth, just need to get used to it.
  20. little testing I did , purly high tech
