  1. As Rb43 stated, a reduced power Trigger Return Spring can get you about a half a pound. Polishing can get you a little is some cases, as well as break in from shooting it. Reduced Power Trigger Return Spring https://cajungunworks.com/product/rp-trs-reduced-power-trigger-return-spring/

  3. Using the pencil test to determine weather or not you will get consistent primer ignition with different parts seams questionable.
  4. Are you asking about the CZC Straight DA/SA Trigger or the Flat SAO Trigger?

    CZ-USA Online Store

The CZ USA webstore is back up and working as of 11/4/20.
  6. I can not say that i have heard this one before. Have you tested this with ammo that has a hard primer? How many rounds have you run through the pistol in its current configuration?
  7. I do not believe that it dose. I always knock them out to the Left and then install them from the Left side to the Right. If you look real close at the base of the sight, sometimes you can see the marks from when they drove them in at the factory. So i do it the way the factory seams to do it.

    Taming Lok Bogies

I agree with the above, one of the upsides of G10 is that you can change the finish. I tried a Dremel once, not a good idea. Sandpaper dose the job and they still look nice.
  9. An interesting question, well answered by yigal. They also call the Sear Cage an Ejector. While a fixed ejector is part of it, the ejector is boring, while the Sear is interesting. I think Sear Cage is a better name. For the CZ 75 variant Decockers, they call the internal decocking lever the Decocking Lever and the external decocking lever that you use to decock the pistol, the Hammer Decocking Lever Controller.

I used Numrich gun parts recently recently with success. It was not fast but it was successful. Otherwise i buy most of my CZ parts from CGW or CZC. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/
  11. Good question, i have never used one and always assumed that they were for the strong hand. Now that i think about it, there is no way that you could reach it. The things you learn.
  12. Neat, thank you for the pics. Is a thumb rest always for the off hand thumb?

    CGW S-spacer for SP-01

As far as function, i am not aware of any advantage with either configuration. Running a spacer allows you to use the CGW adjustable Sear and avoid hand fitting the safety. This can be an advantage to some. A potential advantage for the Pre-B/Wide Sear is that it is cheaper.
  14. Thank you for the info George.
  15. ^^What are these pliers called?
  16. The CZ Shadow 2 uses standard full size CZ 75 magazines. Same mags as the SP-01, 75/85B, 75SA, 75 Omega and orignal CZ Shadow pistols. These full size magazines can also be used in the CZ compact models like the PCR, P-01, P-01 Omega and CZ 75 Compact. They will even work in a CZ sub compact RAMI. In anything smaller than a full sized CZ pistol, the full sized mags will stick out of the grip but they will run fine. Magazine interchangeability has been a significant asset of the platform for me. 17. I can not say that i have ever considered using grease as a shock absorber. Neat.
  18. Good to hear that the set up is working for you Stafford. I plan on adding a dot to one of my CZs in the near future. I have been procrastinating on it for a long time now. I am looking at the SRO. If you have not seen them, Aaron Cowan of the Sage Dynamics youtube channel has some good RDS Handgun Fundamentals videos on the subject. Here is a link to one of them. 19. I see, this did not come to mind. Thank you for the information.
  20. What is the potential asset of changing the stroke?
  21. Here is a link the the thread. 6 inch barrel on a CZ75 https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=110454.msg864920#msg864920 When i first read Tunachaser's suggestion above that it might be an over travel scerw in the Trigger Bar i did not make the connection, but now that i see the picture this may be the case. It dose seam possible that the scerw in the Trigger Bar hits the frame and bottoms out. This could act as a trigger over travel adjustment. I can not think of any other reason for it to be located there. I am interested to hear the input of other forum members on the subject. Thank you for the pics canbuster.
  22. I believe that you may be thinking of a CZ 75 variant decocker. In a decocker the Sear Pin goes through the Sear Cage and the psitol frame. In a safety model the Sear Pin dose not extend into the frame. This allows the Sear Cage in a safety model to float in the frame to some degree. It allows allows the removal of a safety model Sear Cage as one peace with all of its parts retained.
  23. A listing for this or a similar pistol came up on the CZ forums not too long ago in a discussion about 6" barrels. If you do not find any info here you might ask over on the Original CZ Forums. I have not seen the Sear Cage screws before but they could be used to stabilize the Sear Cage. The Trigger Bar set scerw i am less clear on. Gratz on the unique CZ.
