There was a fire at one of Hodgdon's factories, that much I know. As for the rest, yeah there's some attempts to avoid getting stuck with a glut, some of it being a tight credit market so it's hard to borrow $xx million to buy materials in anticipation of sales, some of it being market tied up from a decade of foreign wars, and a lot of it simply being demand from the biggest firearms sale boom in history coupled with higher round consumption shooting sports.

The Mrs. and I watched it today to smile through the lousy weather. We laughed a lot, though some spots might have been a little excessively crude. Overall it was quite enjoyable and definitely promotes the idea of not being fooled by politicians.

Is your carry platform same as competition platform?
yellowfin replied to uhcoog1's topic in Handgun Techniques
For me it's similar but not exact: compete w/ a G34, carry a M&P 40c. I suppose I could get a G26 or m&P 40 pro, and I might, but I'm not there yet w/ the budget. -
That season finale was intense! I suppose they'll be fighting that whole coalition Alan was a part of.

I wonder if these same shortcomings or disagreements of taste apply to the AUG also or no.

Or the pause button on the video camera / player.

I too am all in this year on getting into better shape to improve my shooting and pretty much everything else in life. The last match I shot in November hammered home what I was lacking, that I hadn't been to the gym in over a year. I need my arms, chest, shoulders, back, abs, and legs stronger--all of them hurt severely when I was running my rifle with a can on it, so badly I was rushing shots to try to just get through the stages to get it over with. I ached for two days after that. I strongly suspect that the same deficiency of strength was compromising stability in all of my pistol shooting in other matches of the year. With the cold weather out I can do a lot more in the gym than outside, and if I'm less tired from everything else in life then I'll have more energy and drive at my command to put towards shooting than before.

What do you do for a living?

Retail banker, before that was an insurance agent, photographer, and various other sales. SO glad to not be in retail as a side job anymore, had to do it a couples years b/c of job relocation. -
I'm years away from having the problem of having my goals completely met--I know for me I'll never be as good as I want to be in everything. Boredom is impossible for me, I want too much. I guess that's my real problem, the opposite of most people here: I'm in year 1 (of a full year doing competitions) instead of year 5 or 10 or 15 or 20+, still mucking my way through just trying not to be last each time and figuring out what to improve (too often that being summarized as everything) and then later trying to scrape up the time and means to do so. Being at the bottom trying to catch up to what everyone else already has figured out already is frustrating, embarrassing, and depressing at times. It utterly sucks seeing yourself as late to the party when others were in on this decades ago. I'm doing the things that will build into experience and pay off over time but while you say the journey is the real object sometimes it's better to have been through than to be in it at the time, and when someone gives you the "It'll work out for the best" or "Good things come to those who wait" nonsense, it evokes a less than civil response shall we say.

Dunno, I'd say it was just to show Liz isn't hesitant to use means at her disposal, and not just all one dimension seriousness.

By the time you buy the parts and funky magazines (that may or may not work), you're better off just buying a cheap AK to shoot 7.62X39. Sad to say, there almost isn't such a thing as a cheap AK anymore.

So now that Red's ex wife is safe maybe we can get back to better plots on par with season 1? I really hope the series stays strong and keeps up what it started.

I don't know how the military does it with the .308

Just out of curiosity, what does a 6.5x284 do that a 6.5-06 doesn't? -
My wife and I absolutely love it. The writing is superb. My next food project is now to make rum soaked rose petal paczki.

I still don't understand where you're measuring the crimp to know what amount you're doing. I too use the Lee FCD.

The .377 figure you cite--is that the case OD at the neck, or how far down the die goes down on the case?

I too am working on this and took it to the range today w/ my G34 and saw a couple of keyholes. I HATE keyholing...does anyone not? Not many, just a couple out of maybe 30 or so, but one is one too many. What produces keyholing? Too slow a velocity in too slow a twist barrel, as I know it does in rifles? How do I remedy this? I too am using the 3.2-3.3 ish TG and 1.145 OAL.

Any rumors of expanded powder production capacity for 2015?

I gather that one of Hodgdon's suppliers is rebuilding from a fire, so you could call that a supply increase plan. -
Jogging strollers and golf pull carts are excellent yard sale pick ups, sometimes even free. I saw a beach cart at the last !arch I attended.

I could make a joke about someone suspecting a cheating spouse and asking this question, but I won't.

Tell one on your wife

My wife and I were picking tomatoes a couple days ago and she starts squealing and dancing around like something is chasing her. She started flailing her arms and I finally turn around to see what the matter is. Something is flying around in front of her face that she thought was a bee, but I saw it was red. It was a cherry tomato stuck on the end of her hair and swinging around like a paddle ball! I grabbed it to take it off to show and couldn't stop laughing! There's just nothing quite like the "Eek! There's a bee/snake" dance, ya know. -

So I have to post from my laptop, tablet, and phone consecutively on it to be doing it correctly?
