  1. DAC was born in Akron but Missy (niece) was from just outside of Cambridge, Oh.
  2. I dated his niece for a while. We saw him at a few clubs around Ohio and my back yard campfire a couple times.
  3. Yep. What he said. No fees. No Nags. No Photobucket watermarks across my pics. (As if they took them) Doesn't take 20 min to load one pic. No constant pop-ups for things I don't want.

    Weather

Whether the weather will get better, wetter or wither my nethers, neither cause my leathers to slither off their tethers or gather other rather unpleasantly after. That said, I'ma go sit by the fire and drink my fresh batch of apple pie.
  5. I could care a little less about the Honcho, but not much. The next gun I'm buying that I'm not building myself will be the DWX.
  6. What do you get when you mix Asian and Mexican food? You get to Thai Juan Ohn.
  7. Thanks. I think they look classier than I deserve but proud to have done them. To me, this is what a Presidential gun should be. Classy but makes a statement without being so over done it looks more like a pimp's gun.
  8. You should go talk to those two nuns from the Vatican that came to NYC for a week. They talked about eating a hot dog for the first time the entire flight. Took a cab downtown, found a street vendor and both got hot dogs with everything. The senior sister looked at it suspiciously and asked her junior, "What part did YOU get?"
  9. And have you seen one frozen to -65F? Polymer may be strong, but it is NOT stronger than steel and it tends to get very brittle in extreme cold.
  10. LOL I think you misunderstood. I don't doubt the validity of the video. It's the claim that 1911s are unreliable. If you froze a Glock to -65F and fired it, the polymer grip frame would shatter.
  11. I learned from one of the greatest Chinese chefs. Ken Hom. He has his own cookbook. 101 Ways to Wok Your Dog. :D
  12. Pick up all those bullets from exploded cartridges and sell them for a buck each. I'm betting people would buy a few each and the thousands of rounds in those containers they could recover quite a bit of what the insurance doesn't pay for.
  13. Like it so much I have learned to make my own teriyaki, Szechwuan and sweet & sour as well as hot & sour soup, egg rolls, fried rice.... No cats.
  14. I try to. But I lose count at 3. I hate getting old.
  15. Thing I always find funny on forums is people complaining about old threads being dug up and then telling someone with a question to search old threads because it's been discussed a thousand times.
  16. I currently have several 1911s, including a double stack and a CZ 75 TS. I like the TS better as a double stack but prefer my 1911 trigger. This is a good answer to that problem. Not big on rails but I imagine they will offer it without the rail and if not.... Well I have an angle grinder and a belt sander.
  17. I've said many times, and absolutely believe, that there is now amount of gadgetry that will make up for lack of basic shooting fundamentals. If you haven't mastered the basics a $10,000 pistol isn't going to help you. BJ Norris won the Carry Optics class at the Steel Challenge this year with an overall time of 75.37. KC Eusebio took the open class with a time of 78.34. How does someone shooting Carry Optics beat the time of an open shooter? It certainly wasn't by having the latest greatest gadgets. You want to be good? Put your wallet back in your pocket and learn to SHOOT. BTW: Both shooting Glocks.
