  1. Natchezss has been in stock every time I've checked lately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yes please... Just ordered a boat load of them and also have plenty of TG currently Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Loaded up on about 1/3 of my bullets needed for next year... 15% off blue bullets was just tempting enough to place a decent sized order. Mail lady is gonna hate me this week.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hmmmm. Well I guess when my order comes in I'll quickly find out if I just bought a bunch of hoser practice lead! I've only shot bayou 135s and MG 124jhps thru my shadows to this point but never had any noticeable accuracy issues with either. I will definitely do some more testing with the new bullets and see how they do. Fingers crossed they're good to go... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Not to take over the thread, but I'm not really too familiar with this stuff. I shot a few cases of bayous last year, some BBI and then tried some jacketed and played. I never really paid attention to the diameter. Mainly I just picked 9mm and then went for the weight bullet I was looking for.... Am I missing out on something big here? I just made a pretty decent sized purchase from blue bullets due to their sale, and I'm hoping that I have nothing to be concerned about with a .355 diameter bullet. They'll be fed to a CZ shadow and I've never slugged the barrel.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I haven't shot any but just gambled and picked up a couple cases of the 125gr for my shadow. Hopefully they work out, can't imagine there will be an issue. Anyone with experience with them would be reassuring! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ya prior to going with a CZ I had stocked up on a few S&B primers so my current situation is dropping in a 11.5lbs spring for practice and shooting the S&Bs up and then going with 8.5 and Feds for matches. In all truth I can't say I can really notice a huge difference after the buzzer between the 8.5 and 11.5, but as long as I can find federal primers I'll keep using 8.5 when I can. That DA is SOOOOOO light and smooth. I spent 10 years shooting a stock SigP229 for work so the CZ trigger is like a newfound miracle to me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The weights here are what I experienced, and I absolutely love it. Best trigger I've ever felt on a handgun. Wish there was some way to get this and be reliable with all primers. Mine was also only reliable with Federal. But the trigger is so great I'll just try and buy federal from now on so I can take advantage of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think a zillion times is an accurate guess as to how much easier the cgw pin makes changing trs springs. Definitely get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I tried the Dawson ice but have struggled getting mags seated (using Dawson extended basepads). If it were a little shorter in length and allowed the mags to stick out a little further I think I'd be more confident in it. Apparently most people don't have this issue... But I can't seem to get past it. Currently switching to a S&A one piece magwell / MSH to see how that goes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I like this. Hard to keep in mind all the time but definitely accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Alien gear makes good cheap iwb holsters. http://aliengearholsters.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That all sounds totally accurate. Since this set up is still new to me I have not pushed extremes but I certainly am the limiting factor (rather than the machine) when it comes to hourly rates. This set up is great. I can't really walk by it in the garage without popping out a few rounds- haha! Love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Check to see if the screw holding the trigger bar spring has come loose (big screw directly at the top of the front strap inside). Mine does that quite a bit. With the slide open or off, look at the two spring arms that sit below the trigger bars on each side... That's the spring that's coming loose or popping out from under the trigger bars. I've tried lock titing that screw down but it still finds its way loose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Trigger return spring. Get spares, and look at CGW trigger pin to make swapping them easier. I had one break during a practice session and the gun is useless till its replaced. At the time I had the stock pin in and it was a PIA to get out and back in after replacing the spring. I can't speak for longevity of the spring yet as the gun it fail in was new to me but used. My new accu has a few thousand rounds through it with no issues yet. But to be safe I already swapped out the stock pin for the cgw pin. I can't say enough about how much of a pain in the A it was to get the stock one out. I bent two punches before it came loose. Cgw pin just slides in and out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Update: loaded about 1000 rounds this week with the mbf. Whew! Awesome. So easy to get into a groove and really crank out some ammo. Very happy with my purchase. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've also seen ppl just cover the aluminum grips entirely in grip tape. That would also be tacky, I just prefer a thicker grip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. VZ diamondback grips, very aggressive, plus grip tape across the front strap (and maybe backstrap). That gives for a solid purchase on the gun... For me anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I recently made the switch from M&P to CZ. VERY HAPPY. The guns are great- GREAT. I got my hands on one at production nationals this year and knew I was immediately doomed. I picked up a used shadow from the classifieds here and a new Accu from CZC. I went with the accu because I was already spending a ton on it, and did not want to get it and then regret not getting the upgrade. Now that I've had a couple months with the new guns I am very happy I made the switch. I'm not totally sure the accu shadow is worth the extra coin when it comes down to shots on paper in a USPSA match, but who cares I've got it now and its not going anywhere. I know for sure that any issues with accuracy can NOT be blamed on the gun anymore, haha. The triggers on both guns are spectacular. The accu has a trigger job from CZC and the shadow from Akai. I'm not sure which is better but either way I'm happy- a big reason for me going straight to CZ and not even considering Tanfo is that I am not confident I could do the work myself and get as great of a result- and my primary reason for getting these guns is the trigger. One thing I definitely notice is with such a light crisp trigger I am able to be more accurate much faster. I had a an apex sear in the MP but other wise stock springs. The difference between the 5lbs trigger in that gun and the 1.5 - 2lbs SA trigger is significant enough to have a definite improvement on tight shots at distance. It is just plain easier to break a shot without disturbing the sights with this set up. Good luck with your new gun, you will definitely love it!
  20. Nice! I see a couple in there I wouldn't mind adding to my safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yep I only ordered the mbf from shooters connection. When it showed up I unboxed it and set it up while watching the DAA videos on YouTube. Only issues I had were getting it mounted to my case feeder bowl. But that was just cause it's awkward. Wld have been helpful to have a 2nd pair of hands to hold things steady while I got that squared away. After that it was super easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. I only said it was surprising to set up because generally I'm not worth a damn setting this stuff up myself! I'm guessing most people would have an even easier time than I did!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. MBF shipped immediately and arrived today! Excellent service from shooters connection. Surprisingly I was able to get this thing set up super quick. In about a half hour I had it running like a top and popping out ammo. VERY pumped up about this and looking forward to cranking out some ammo! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yikes. I guess I looked at them but figured if I was gonna jump I was gonna jump big! Glad I did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
