  1. Hmmm, if you like how things work out and you don't mind I'd like to take a peak at it one of these days. (Clicked on your U-Tube, we both shoot at SCGC). Absolutely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I've got the CZ compact and the XD. Seems like the XD sight radius makes things a whole lot easier for me personally (about + 1" over the CZ). A different rear sight on the CZ might cut the XD advantage down by half though. As is it is really hard for me to shoot down zeros on something like stage 3 of the classifier with the CZ but with the XD it doesn't seem any harder than with my ssp gun. sightlength.jpg Ya I can see how that extra inch could make a big difference. I'm currently waiting on a delivery of a new sight set from CZC, went with the h-tac black rear and fiber front that hopefully makes it a little better. The factory sights are NOT great. Other than that I really like the ergos of the CZ and hopefully that translates to a decent performer. Time will tell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Many thousands of rounds? Whew... That speaks to the durability of the Delta Point as much as your hands, arms, and joints. That's punishment!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My thoughts exactly... I don't shoot as much IDPA anymore, but when I do this year I'm going to shoot my actual carry gun, a CZ 75 compact, in CCP. So far it seems like it would be a great set up for IDPA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. .380s are the worst. I can always tell because of the jarring crash on the downstroke because the case is sliding thru the sizing die with no resistance. Only reason id say the small primer .45 is less annoying is because I get far fewer SP 45s than I do .380s. Got a coffee can full of each of those cases next to my press Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I agree with this.. I came from M&P to the CZ. It's not the weight of the gun or the recoil that really sold me it's the ridiculously good trigger... My tricked out from CZC accu has the best trigger I could want on a handgun.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I may be missing something... I tried to switch form MP9 to CZC shadows. The one I spent $1500 on last year from CZC did not have sub 2lbs SA trigger. It was about the same as the APEX trigger on the MP9. I did not have a digital trigger gauge, but the spring gauge showed it's in the 3lbs range. Do you have to specifically ask CZC to make the SA go below 2lbs? All the CZC shadows I have seen have 3-3.5lbs SA triggers, including one shot by a GM and a bunch others by M/A class. Some Mink shadow I have seen have 2.5lbs triggers. You know polymer guns can have sub 2lbs triggers too, and done by a drop-in kit. They can be as clean and smooth as the CZ SA trigger, at least the ones I have tried, but again I have not seen a 1.5lbs CZ SA trigger before. So what do I know. With my M&P I did not really experiment much with my trigger.. I put an Apex sear and kept all the stock springs. The trigger was decently crisp but probably around 5#. I ran that gun last season and went from initial B class to A by mid year, I'm confident it was not the gun holding me back from M. I also have a flat faced apex set up in another M&P that's a little lighter but I am really not a big fan of that trigger, it seems less crisp and kinda springy, if that makes any sense. Recently I dry fired a XDM tricked out from powder river, or something like that, it had a very impressive trigger. In the end I'm sure there are many options for a great trigger in many different guns... But for my money the CZ Accu I got from CZC is all I could want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For my gun I ordered the race trigger job from CZC. That comes with a modified 13lbs mainspring. Replacing the mainspring with a CGW 8.5 lbs mainspring dropped the weight on DA considerably-- to around 4.75#-- and the SA measured 1.75#. For that set up only federal primers work. I have a bunch of S&B primers and it will not set those off reliably at all. No fail to fire with the federal primers tho. I use an 11.5# mainspring for my non federal primed loads and have no FTF issues. That brings the DA pull up to probably 5.5# and the SA right around 2#. When doing dry fire and drooling over how smooth the trigger is I definitely prefer the 8.5# spring. It's crazy good. But when the buzzer beeps I really can't tell any difference between the heavier spring and shoot the 11.5# set up more because all my practice loads are S&B primers. When I initially received the gun CZC had failed to perform the trigger job. The DA pull was around 8 and the SA was over 3.. Maybe 3.5 I can't remember. But it was noticeably heavier and not as smooth. They immediately remedied the situation and sent me a label to return the gun for the trigger job. I'm extremely happy with the gun. 8. Like everyone else has said it will probably be specific to your match director as to whether or not you can do it. For me, locally, I have not seen anyone shoot more than one division in the same day at a regular outdoor match. I have (and do so myself) seen people shoot one of the local indoor matches in multiple divisions. That match is set up to run multiple flights of the same match. So one group shoots at 530 and the next shoots at 8. These are much shorter 3 stage matches and overall time spent shooting is about the same as a regular match if you shoot both flights. I try and sign up for both flights when I shoot these as I allows me to get more shooting in during the crappy weather months.. and because I have to drive a couple hours to shoot so I want to make sure the trigger time is worth the travel.
  9. Mines a tad heavier but still sub 2#. It's incredible what they can do with these guns. I would be happy with this trigger (SA anyway) on a limited or open gun... In fact it's kinda made me consider tac sport or checkmate if I ever make the jump to limited or open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. I had not checked that but I will now. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I took the shell plate off and cleaned everything well and then reassembled. I made sure that the detent ball was tracking correctly and now that it's back together I'm not having the issue anymore. I can't say 100% that I know what the exact problem was, but thankfully it's not happening currently. Thank you for the input from everyone!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I was quoted 8 weeks and ended up closer to 4-5 weeks when mine shipped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I would recommend Dillon case lube. Lots of people say it's unnecessary on pistol cases and I did not use it for my first 10,000 rounds or so..... Once I started using it I immediately could tell the difference. It makes the press run MUCH smoother even with carbide dies. Also, definitely add a case feeder if it's in the budget. That's a game changer when it comes to production rate. I added a bullet feeder as well and it's excellent (and worth the $ in my opinion), but not nearly as drastic of an improvement as the addition of the case feeder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I also had a dual illuminated RMR. Outdoors the dot was excellent. However, out of direct sunlight or with a lit up target from a dim location the optic is severely limited. I also did not love the level of tiny on the glass.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thank you! I might give them a try next. I'm currently making my rounds through the bullet makers and to be honest I haven't found a bad batch yet. I've done BBI as well as bayou and the blue bullets. All have been great so far and all have had quick shipping. This is a good problem to have!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. How do you get a forum related discount? I can't find it on the site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Took the shell plate off and cleaned it up and checked the detent ball. Flipped the spring there, as it seemed to sit more correctly after flipping it (if that makes sense)... Also removed the roller bearing mod I had put on initially, and then tightened the shell plate back down and loaded up a quick 75 rounds. No primer flipping issue at all. Hopefully this has cured it. Thanks for the input! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. To start I've reloaded 15,000+ 9mm on a 650 in the last year. This year I picked up another 650 to be dedicated to 45. So far I've loaded maybe 1500 rounds working through numerous types of primers.... Now I'm on S&B which I've got 5k or so of them. I'm getting sideway seated primers all over the place.... Anyone know why??? I've never had this happen with small pistol primers in 9mm.... It's very frustrating and getting to be expensive! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome! If you don't already go, try and make it up to wildcat valley rifle and pistol club up near brookston for USPSA, 3-gun, or IDPA! They usually put on good matches and always looking for more competition! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It will most likely slow down! Haha.. Congrats on the baby tho! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. 3-4 including 1 or 2 majors each month during the shooting season.. I'm finding a great (as in positive) problem this year with several weekends where I have multiple matches that I'd like to shoot and have to make a choice. Sure beats not being able to find somewhere to go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Are you using the USB cable that came with them? They are carry picky about what USB cable they work with. Yes using the supplied cable. At first I would have to hold the cable into the glasses port at a specific angle for it to connect then that even stopped. Frustrating because other than that I liked them. 24. I tried the pivot heads for a bit and was pretty happy with video quality and overall comfort, but they didn't last at all. I've had them 6 months maybe 8 and they're totally jacked up and won't connect to computer or charge. Checked to see if they'd repair them but as I bought them off eBay (new) there would be a $30 + shipping fee. I like them but don't want to sink another nickel into them if they won't last. Trying a tachyon next, hopefully it lasts and is at least fairly low profile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Outdoor in february! In Indiana.. thats the crazy part. Well this one was my most recent match experience, single stack. Unfortunately I was the first shooter and our first stage was the classifier 99-13 Quicky II. This one features some SHO and WHO shooting at about 10 yards on open targets. I did not perform well, and actually plunked a hit on the NS on the WHO string and had a mike on the back target.. oh well. The rest of the match was a little better. I was slow to get moving and for the most part felt like I did everything slow. I ended up shooting about 92% of points before penaltlies (30 of my 40 total penalty points were on the classifier) which is not bad. Man do I like major scoring compared to minor... but again I noticed an issue with recoil control, which cause me to really take my time finding the sights, which of course lead to slow stage times. Decent match overall, just needed to be a little quicker. I still found myself needing make-up shots and running to slide lock several times.. kinda frustrating. match video:
