I really like my Red Hill Tactical.

All I use on my MPX with 24c trigger. Also worked with CMC, SSA-E and stock trigger with JP springs.

Damn popper holes affect it that much? I do 9.5 with 115 MG at 1.260 OAL and I’m averaging 175pf.

Damn. Been out of shooting open for a bit. Need to play with some of my powders and OALs after seen this thread.

I believe Kak makes a 5” extended one. To answer your question though, you have to check with your local club. One of the clubs I go to will let you shoot supressed for no score.

There are a couple of companies working on slimmer and light handguard. If you have facebook join the MPX owners page. Lot of the stuff gets posted there.

There was noticeable difference in trigger pull when I switched the pins. I use anti-walk pins because they have walked out on me.

I’m running 24C in my MPX now. I had the KNS gen 2 pins in it. Saw a thread heard about this and I took the KNS pins out. I didn’t want to use the factory pins that came with it so I installed a set of pins from a CMC trigger I had laying around. Much better feel and no worries about the pins walking out.

I have bad knees...PCC doesn’t make it better...if anything there instances that is harder.

I use Everglades Ammo plated 124gr RN. That specific bullet I sit at 1.12 but when I used to use Xtreme I was sitting them at 1.15 not problem. The Everglades at 1.15 it was just a hair too long.

That mount cooked my last 2 red dot ( Holosun and Aimpoint). I shot my AK in one match only and I had it set up pretty simple (just above mentioned red dot and a PWS brake). It was a lot of fun just like that. Practice magazine changes though.

Don't have a way to accurately measure it. I know I had to turn the die down more than what the instructions call for though. Instruction calls for 1/4 turn after it touches the plate. I had to do a full turn. This is only with PMC and LC brass. All others are fine. I used a Lyman case gauge and they fit perfectly. Made a few dummy rounds and they are going into battery now. Haven't tried to shoot the PMC brass yet though. Best 5 shoot group of the day using Winchester brass, Sierra MK 168gr BTHP with 47.8grs of CFE-223 seated at 2.79.

Forgot that I had this here. Yes my die wasn't sizing right in the Lee press. The Lee press doesn't cam over. Moved the die to my LnL and everything is good now.

It does look weird/cheesy. I just installed mine this last weekend and I was to not use the shoe. Installed it just to try it and it makes the trigger more comfortable. I have only put about 2 mag dumps through it but it was enough to leave it on.

Did the same thing to my Red Hill Tactical.

Just noticed this faint line on the shoulder.

Took out my Aero Precision 308 rifle to test it and try out my ladder test. Started with factory ammo and it ran beautifully. Ran Noslers and Hornady with Hornady giving me 1" 5 shot groups. Went to do my reloads and bolt doesn't go into battery. It did it on all my reloads. No rifling marks on the bullets. After sling shooting the bolt home, finally got it to chamber and shot my first set of 5. Went to shoot my 6th round and I had a pierced primers. The other 5 were about to pop too. Reloads details Using PMC brass RCBS F/L sizing die on a Lee Breech Lock Sierra 168 BTHP Matchkings CFE-223 (47, 47.4 gr) CCI LRP. OAL 2.79 Reloading data from Hodgdon is 46.6 to 49gr with said bullet and OAL of 2.8". Rifle has 24" bull barrel and headspace checks good. It has a CMC trigger. Only happens with my reloads. Factory ammo no issues.

Did you take the valve apart? Guessing same ammo you used before? here is a link on how the spacers in the valve are supposed to be oriented in case you did take it apart. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_45/448281_Sig_MPX_Gas_Valve_Modification.html Also make sure the pin that holds the front cap for the valve, didn't fall out. Mine did after a 100 rounds and did the same thing yours is doing.

Had the same issue with CMC. Running a SSA-E now and it seems fine. Considering switching to 24C though.

I'm using a DTF Industries brake, Odin works adjustable gas block and all weights removed from buffer with a regulas BCG . 16" barrel with mid length gas system. No muzzle raise what's so ever. Want to upgrade the trigger though. Looking at a 24C or a Geissele SSA-E.

If I was to do it all over it again, I would have gone with 9mm. I can get 9mm brass free.

I'm using a Red Hill Tactical pouch. I had it at an angle and I didn't feel like it would stay in place with all the weight. I'm thinking trying it with a 20rnd magazine and see how it feels. This is for an MPX.

For PCC, can the magazine be on a magnetic "pouch"? I'm having a hard time reaching the magazine being to high.
