  1. My P09 likes 147 Xtreme with 3gr of Titegroup.
  2. The only thing I do not recommend is the short MOE handguard. on my last rifle match, on the last stage I used my AK. I had to shoot around a barricade. When the rifle recoiled, the barrel (instead of the handguard) landed on the web of my support hand and that wasn't pleasant at all.
  3. For a TS 9mm, I want to replace the front sight with a FO. I measured the original front sight and it comes to 5.3mm tall, should this be the correct replacement? http://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/front-and-rear-sights/front-sight/fiber-optic-front-sight/cz-fiber-optic-front-sight-1-0-x-5-5mm-2-75mm-blade.html I have a set load to shoot minor (147gr pill pushed by 3gr of Titegroup). This load shoots out of the TS very accurate but the ejection is very weak. I'm thinking a 11 lbs recoil spring should do or should I go slightly higher? Don't want to change my load since this the load my son uses in production and it works very well for his P01 and I have quite a stock pile of it.
  4. Love my 97BD. Extremely accurate and easy to shoot. My wife got it for me for L10 but it is very pleasurable to shoot and I only shoot it when I'm stressed. Beside it is too pretty to get holster wear. Holster for them is hard to find too. My Ghost STI holster does fit but it is a tight fit. I have another holster for my TS that it does fit but it is a production type holster.
  5. i just got a JM Pro and I had the same issue. I was shooting high. I adjusted the stock the lowest position and still shot high. I'm finding the sight to be too low for me. I found the sight of the SPX model way easier to use so i just ordered these sights to see if raising the sights help.
  6. Well I stopped at 26.8 because I was seeing flat primers but I realized that it was due to one specific head stamp so I no longer use that head stamp (GFL).
  7. I going to push them a bit more and see where it takes me.
  8. Would love to do the bead blasting but would be afraid my TiN coating will go with it. It is already getting worn out inside the comp though.
  9. There was another thread running around with similar topic. Someone poster that they spray their comp with case lube before he shoots (clean comp already). I tried this before using it on my last match. 300 rounds later I was able to clean it a lot easier than before. I didn't need scrub pad and soak it over night in Hoppes. Hoppes, Qtip and 20 minutes...done.
  10. I've heard of a few people sanding down the wood grips to a smooth, thinner profile, and then covering them in grip tape. That sounds like a good and inexpensive project. Yes, I have head of that option but I like the look of the wood grips and would like to leave them alone in case I want to sell the the TS. One more option is: http://seboweapons.com/en/4-modificationsand pick grips and magwell in a multitude of colors. email robin@seboweapons.com for compatible options, shipping and paypal. I ordered short sharp grips with wide magwell in red from him. How is their shipping? I like the options there.
  11. So I basically have 4 options 1. CZ Custom grips 2. CM grips with CM magwell 3. Cut full size grip to fit the OEM magwell 4. Full size grips with no magwell Thanks for the info.
  12. I just got my TS today and the only thing I really need is the front sight and a lighter recoil spring. The wood grips are ok...ish but would like more traction. I don't mind the factory magwell. Do the CM grips will fit the TS stock magwell?
  13. I'm looking to see what velocities are you guys getting out of your 223s with 55gr pills out of a 14.5 barrel. I'm loading 26.6gr of CFE223 with Hornady 55gr Sp and measuring them at 2632 FPS avg.
  14. Here is my chromo results with AA7. Keep in mind this is with 115s out of my STI DVC. I found all loads to be very accurate and the POI never shifted from my other 2 loads (9.5gr of HS-6 and 9.5gr of 3N37). 10.8gr is load data max load BTW. AA#7.pdf

    P09 open Minor

Not crazy at all. I thought about it also but it was too late since I sold the P09.
  16. I have a PCR and a P01 that we (Wife and I) carry. I prefer the P01 because it is a bit heavier and that helps to keep the muzzle flip down. Other than that we don't have any preference on who carries what. Other than a 13# HS, they are both stock. My son uses the P01 for production class and he does well.
  17. Got to look at mine again. Was pretty sure my 38 Sup was a one piece.

    P09 open Minor

    Kind of like this? http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133083&p=2558211
  19. Once I finish with my HS-6 loads I will switch to AA7. Find it a lot cleaner than HS-6, very easy to track the dot and it works the comp very good. I have compared it to CFE-P, BE-86, HS-6, 3N37 and WAC.
  20. Looking forward to some of your reviews. I just installed one on my 14.5 AR. So far only some range shooting with it up to 300 yards and I like it. BDC is spot on with my loads. I'm a red dot fan and this scope seems to be easy to see through it at 1X. Next week match will determine how much I like it.
  21. Hornady LnL. No belling on the powder charge station. Thinking when I get back home try it out again in 38 Super and see. Also thinking different powder in the 9mm barrel to make sure it it isn't the barrel either.
  22. I use 2 scales to verify my drops (yes I'm very OCD when it comes to making major PF ammo). I use a Hornady press. I loaded the 3N37 and the WAC on the same day. I clean the powder drop when I chage my powders by completely taking it apart and wiping it. I avoid big grain powders just to make it consistent. I also weight 3 drops before starting to make sure they are where I want it to be then I check every 10 rounds. Don't think is the equipment since everything else is consistent.
  23. About 4 months. Popped the seal yesterday. It has a lot number of 1091015. But yes because the one with the pierced primer sounded like very slow burn but that could be because it burn out of both ends.
  24. Yes pierced primer. CCI SRP. WIN brass. The back of the case is so flat that the stamp is almost gone.
