  1. I really like the curve of the Stock 2 trigger and find it easier to manipulate. Is there a CZ version that would be close to it? Currently shooting a Stock Shadow 2.
  2. I heard back from both RHT and BSPS (who sells the Boss Hanger). RHT = Compatible with Boss but doesn’t include the correct length of screws. Made primarily for the Springer Precision hanger BSPS = the screws which come with the hanger (currently on my Bladetech) should fit. Worst case I’ll need to hit the hardware store and find the right ones. Shouldn’t be too hard, just annoying to not have the right screws readily available.
  3. In follow up for anyone interested: The Bladetech Stock 3 did eventually fit, albeit with a little work involved. The Shadow 2 has pretty sharp edges that scraped the inside up. After sanding down by hand with 150 grit, 400 grit then Meguiar’s Scratch X it feels great. The only issue I’m noticing is that I need to polish every other practice or else it starts to grab. Overall 15-20 minutes of work, then 3-4 minutes per upkeep. Not the ideal solution but beats buying a new holster in the interim. Hopefully the RHT comes sooner than later!

  5. Yeah that is what I’ve heard. I reached out to the BS Pro Shop and they said the ones that come with the Boss Hanger should also work. Unfortunately I’m still waiting on the holster to arrive so I can’t confirm
  6. I did purchase one from RHT but it won’t be available until mid-January (they have a 30 day turnaround). I just need something in the meantime
  7. Does anyone use this setup and if so, what screws did you use to mount the holster to the hanger? The ones they come with are too short TIA
  8. It’s a Bladetech FWIW. Thanks for the reply!
  9. Thanks for the reply. The Stock 3 holster is a Bladetech I believe. The RHT will be my first one, but of course it’ll be awhile
  10. I had a Stock 3 a few years ago and still have the holster. Planning to pick up a Shadow 2 in the next week or so but was curious about whether it would fit. Does anyone have experience with this by chance? TIA
  11. Planning to pick up a Shadow 2 in the next week or so and understand that it won’t fit a SP01 holster. Does anyone know if it will fit a Stock 3 holster by chance? I have one lying around from when I had the Tanfo and my RHT holster won’t be ready until January TIA
  12. You save money and get better with lots and lots of dry fire. Reloading saves money per round but you end up spending just as much/more due to volume. Reloading is not money saved, it is value added. Like shopping at costco. You spend the same but get more. I wouldn’t cheap out on gear: gun, mags, belt, pouches, holster. Buy once cry once
  13. I had/have this problem as well and I’m working on keeping it in check. From Stoeger’s class I learned (paraphrasing): - you’re probably not gripping the gun hard enough with your support hand in both live/dry fire - you need to press the trigger harder in dry fire The logic he used was we’re tensed up and amped with so much adrenaline at a match that we are pressing the trigger much harder than we would in dry fire. The solution is to mimic reality (ie: press harder in dry fire) and grip at 100% with your support hand. The sights shouldn’t move. If they do it’s a weakness in your grip

    Two Eyes Open

As someone who’s switched from one to two eyes open I can tell you that it doesn’t matter. I made G with closing one eye so I don’t think having two open is imperative. After shooting with both for about 2 years now my accuracy hasn’t improved noticeably. I’m also not faster with transitions. The main benefit is less eye fatigue and better depth perception. Then again, I can’t say that is something I can measure in terms of improvement, just makes things easier. The main thing I would highlight is knowing when to use front sight focus vs intermediat vs target. Having one eye open made me have a hard front sight every shot so I had to really train myself not to stare too hard
  15. If the match is coming up at the end of this month there's not much you can really do to get better. I would focus on polishing up the fundamentals and try to get as much solid practicing in as possible. Basic drills like distance changeup with movement, 2 @ 25 and Accelerator are a good start. In terms of mental programming I think people have already said it. Shoot your own game and don't worry about what other people are doing. If you could surround yourself with friends and people you enjoy shooting with the better
  16. It's a stick/bar she uses to prop up poppers without having to use your back. It's pretty cool actually. Wish we had them at our clubs

    ReBlue-ing CZ Mags

This is a good question since all my mags are getting rusty. I have to rub oil on them every other practice session or it builds up pretty bad
  18. Until recently I shot around 6-7k CCI primers with this setup without any issues. Due to a bulk buy I'm now on WIN
  19. Trigger return springs Floating pin is a must have IMO Recoil springs Slide stop
  20. I tried it on my Accu and it didn't light Winchesters. DA 5.25# and SA 2.25# I'm now using 11.5# HS with a 6# DA and 2.5ish# SA
  21. +1 on the MecGars. Very cost effective and reliable +1000 on the Springer Base Pads
  22. Hey thanks buddy, I appreciate that. Ben's class definitely pushed me to work on the areas where I was weak and it also gave me motivation to know he thought I could do it. That said, lots of dry fire and eating the humble pie in practice helps too. Congrats on making M!
