  1. It’s not in the video. The shooter commented on the FB thread where he started the conversation. He said he unbagged the PCC while facing the berm and looked at his sight, then walked up to the line. The original post doesn’t contain all the info, hence why there seems to be a lot of confusion. The shooter didn’t look at his sight in the sky, he looked at it while pointing at the berm. Personally I think it sucks to be DQ’d for it. But I also wouldn’t be able to do that with my CZ.
  2. The shooter in the video pulled the PCC out of the bag while pointing at the berm and looked at his sight. The “looked at his sight” took place at the berm not the sky. Not sure if that changes things for anyone, but it’s important to add that in since the video doesn’t show you everything.
  3. I heard it was announced, is this true? If so when and where?
  4. Their UX and navigation is confusing af. Do you have a direct URL to the 1 mm?
  5. Also this. Most reputable places will work with you if you’re unsatisfied. Just needs to be redone, either start over or fix the geometry of the sear and hammer.
  6. Looks more like a rolling break. Ironically this is the type of trigger I prefer so I can prep a bit without going bang
  7. +1 Henning I run the Pro basepads for Production which prevent overtravel on the Shadow 2. Has really nice checkering on the bottom so I don’t need grip tape. Quality parts and manufacturing, highly recommended
  8. Anything I can get my hands on. They all do the same damn thing
  9. If you email Tim (the owner of the Pro shop) he’ll respond pretty quick. They look the same to me but I’m sure there’s some nuance that I’m missing
  10. I own all three (Henning, TTI, Springer). They’re all well made, however, the Henning paint seems to hold the best. It also has checkering on the bottom which I feel is a bonus. I would say Henning is the best
  11. I’ve tried both Springers and Henning’s and eventually went with Henning’s pro model. The SP’s are good and cheap but can be over inserted. I’ve done it only during slide lock but it’s enough to make me pay the extra cash. Side note, if you buy 6+ the pads are $17. Not bad considering the quality
  12. I’m sorry to hear that OP. All of my encounters with CZC have been really positive. I hope you get it sorted soon. The Accushadow is an excellent gun
  13. To be honest, I don’t think it’s fair to say they’re unwilling ‘to make it right.’ It’s a used gun and barrels can get worn out. It’s hard to say what happened between the time it was purchased 3 years ago and 2 owners. Just my $0.02 They offered a factory barrel which *should* fit (I have a factory barrel on my Accu since the original wore out). You just won’t get the extra length vs the Aussie. And in this sport you’re probably not going to notice the difference from an OEM barrel vs. Aussie. Unless you do Bianchi or something like that. I would try try a few more bullet manufacturers and play with the load (OAL, crimp, powder etc.) I found that certain bullets <cough> Xtremes <cough> actually tumble out of my Accushadow.
  14. Cerakote looks great until you start drawing from the holster. Nice work otherwise
  15. ^^This. Although with Eric now in the mix it really makes things interesting. My hope is that he goes Prod and CZ does an EG model
  16. Didn’t realize you could do this for the S2. Is it still Production legal? Sounds interesting
  17. 1.13” is pretty long. Every CZ I’ve owned (including the S2) does well with 1.10” - 1.11” Have you tried a short OAL or shooting FP?
  18. Does the right side also have the tribal marks as well? Also, I read that it is polished stainless. Forgive my ignorance but how does it differ from hard chrome?
  19. A SP01 frame and a “Shadow” frame are identical, only the action is different. If you swap to the Shadow sear cage/sear it is now a Shadow. You cannot tell from looking at it. No RO would be Able to tell. When adding the top end it will have different SN# though. However, with the new rules any OEM part or aftermarket part made for that model that matches the original design are acceptable - making this a non-issue. This is how I understand it at least.
  20. I think the it really depends on individual preferences. The only thing it really needs is polishing and that’s not even necessary, or hard to do. If you want a lighter trigger pull you can just cut 2-3 coils and the DA will drop to ~ 8 lbs and still light everything. Out of the box you would be hard to pressed to find many guns which are similar to the Shadow 2 in terms of being competiton ready. Just my 0.02
  21. When I put one in on my previous Shadow it added some pre-travel to the SA. Was that the case for you?
  22. Maybe it’s just me but the last Bogies I bought had very minimal aggression. Even with dry hands (actual hands not the grip enhancer) it didn’t bite whatsoever. Compared to the VZ Tactical diamonds I was a bit underwhelmed. This was about 3 months ago
  23. Update: bought the original SP01 “recurve” trigger and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Gonna test it out tomorrow, but dry fire felt good at least
  24. No worries I just found for pretty cheap on eBay. Gonna give it a whirl. Its not the DA that’s a challenge. I just like how much easier it is for me to pull straight back with each shot on the Tanfo. We’ll see however, completely different trigger action on both.
