  1. yes, they will wear out, I have had it happen to me on a few guns after I shortened them
  2. I am using 125 blue bullets with 7gr of CFE pistol and there is no smoke or buildup in the gun, matter of fact this is my new open load.
  3. I think 15 rounds with a slide mounted reddot would be a riot. I was always curious why USPSA wouldnt go to 15 rounds after IPSC did.
  4. The hammer is only surface hardened sooner or later you will have problems with it unless you get it rehardened
  5. Eric, I see what you are saying now, I thought you were referring to the overall finish not the worn areas. You are absolutely correct, once the cerakote wears the firearm will rust. I have a pistol that has been melonited and there have not been any wear issues with it, it has been almost identical to hard chrome.
  6. Eric, I agree you on all points except the cerakote, if applied correctly it will not rust nor does it need to be oiled. I have several firearms cerakoted and none have any rust on them.
  7. crappy pic, going to add a steel grip to it soon
  8. I have a blade tech holster for a Sig P320 and the Stock 2 fits perfectly in it, better than the actual blade tech holster for the stock 2
  9. And what would a 6 creedmoor do better than a 243 ? I asked myself the same question a few years ago and the truth is that it is just a more efficient cartridge. My shooting partner was getting almost the same velocity I was in my 243 and he was using almost 2 grains less. I reload so I figure I might as well switch over to 6 creedmoor.
  10. 5k on a 243, I would like to see that throat, the best I have ever got on my 243 was 2500ish and I had the barrel melonited
  11. no clue, I know what makes the other parts xtreme is that they are chromed
  12. as far as I know it is the same as the stock just has a single wing
  13. spray antiperspirant works well
  14. I am running 7gr with a 125gr blue bullet loaded to 1.70 and getting 171pf, it is amazing how much more powder it takes with popple holes
  15. Greg, how does it shoot? I wouldn't worry too much about it if it shoots well.
  16. I switched to a 6 creedmoor (from a 243) and couldn't be happier. I do have a 6.5 creedmoor and a 260, both are great but they don't get used as much at the 6 creed now. It also seems like most of the guys shooting comps were running a 6mm of some type at the last match I went to.
  17. I shoot the full-size model, that is why it works for me and not with your gun
  18. I have never had an issue, just rest your support thumb on the lever
  19. I have had several light strikes with the Delta and none with the Titan
  20. could be snowing 3 feet
  21. I have a TRS on a SBR, a Nordic 22 AR and a pistol and they have all been great. I am not a huge fan of bushnell scopes (had 2 fail on me at long range rifle matches) but these guys are hard to beat for the money, I think I paid $65 on amazon for them.
  22. if memory serves me, this is stainless, I had it done last year
