  1. I'll TAKE IT. There are simple safety check, but you cannot see if ALL the safetie are actually engaging unless the RO is a gun smith and can prove it.
  2. Speaking to Vortex direct. I was told there will be a partial release, and then a follow up. Many are already spoken for kind of hopping to catch the second wave; giving time for some reviews so I can bail. Sorry $325.00 just sounds to good to be true, but alway on the back of my mind P.A. $265.00 sounds better
  3. How would anyone Know ? if your internal safeties are NOT working? Unless there was a Glock armorer opening up and inspecting all gun, or if your gun malfunction during a match. There are a few safety checks, but impossible to SEE the internal trigger safeties in motion. Rock On No creep 2.5
  4. The only good thing is there warranty / reputation on the line ; I see this new price range was to get into what Primary Arms created a low budget 1-6 scope. Maybe that's why they look so much alike. Primary Arms reticle seems like a been thought out with the windage added
  5. Steve RA; your input has helped, and you were one of the first here to answer most of our questions about this scope thanks. I did read you say that you were not planning to use this scope for competition, and it would find a home on your hog rifle. Have you been using it for your 3G rifle and found it working out for you overall ? or Not
  6. Thanks again its good to here what you guys feel about the reticle. From your feed back its working some what, its the zeroing at 100 yrds that's NOT really matching up is the main issue for you. I've always wondered how well any of these type of reticle really worked out considering there could be many variables. Most if not all of you feel that the ranging part of the scope is not correct and not needed any way. All that said you all seem happy for now, but are already saving up for some better gla$$ in the future
  7. So at the 300 to 400 price range if you put Vortex glass quality up against Burris. Which would you say is best ?
  8. Nice Gun; What ammo are using, and does the comp really make a difference shooting 9mm
  9. Primary arms has claimed that there reticle works with standard ammunition even demonstrating mid range accuracy It does seem like a well thought out reticle with leads for moving targets, and ranging estimation.. It is a good price
  10. I'd like ask those of you who have look at, or studied the reticle on a Primary arms 1-6 scope, or you own one. Whats your opion of there reticle. Is it really as good, and easy to use as they say for faster mid to long range shots. Pro's and Con's are appreciated. Thanks up front
  11. Can I ask what makes it so much better than other red dot sights ?
  12. I'm starting to think were all expecting to much out of this scope, and may be a little disappointed with the glass, also the new release date is August. Wish a scope price war would break out to compete with Vortex Strike Eagle release LOL
  13. I've spoken to Tom of MOA about this issue he recommended a small drop of lock tight, or take a punch and staking the bottom of the receiver. Used blue lock tight it still there
  14. With the varying rate of life of these light weight extended strikers ranging from 10 to 50 thousand rounds not sure if there worth the $75 to $90. From your experience which of all the light weight strikers would be the most durable, reliable, time tested , and the BEST bang for your buck that you'd buy again. Thanks
  15. Yup thats it; Also check out the Q&A good info
  16. Vortex has a couple of new Pic's showing the Strike Eagle one is a looking through the glass at a stop sign at 100 yrds .( Jesse ) Have you been holding out on us
  17. BOOM

    $4000 glock?

There are Some here who are on the l ve Glock ban-wagon Sooooooooo Bad. They would be offend if you told them they were ( NUTS $4,000.00)
  18. Thanks enjoyed reading your post; I asked here what most use for there Iron sight set up, and the DPMS rear sight seems to top the list. I'd like to now what the overall opinion here on the matech rear sight would be Ya, or Na
  19. With all these copy cats the biggest difference of buying one over another would be which retical Works Best at distant targets. I'd like to say Primary Arms 1-6 . Not sure at this price if were going to be able to notice much difference in glass quality. I have spoken with Vortex and they have said the Strike Eagle is NOT day light visible. Sooooo there all running neck and neck just depends which reticel you like. Thanks
  20. Thank you; A question I have is which of the two reticles do you all feel would work better/quicker at longer distances. The Primary Arms, or Vortex strike Eagle, and is there even a better choice ?
  21. Like to ask if the Primary Arms scope reticle works out with any off the shelf ammo, or its just hit or miss . Between the new Vortex strike eagle , and Primary Arms reticle It comes down to which actual works
