  1. I like the way you do things straight up to the saw didn't even take the stock off the receiver WOW I been leaning to cut mine would like a better butt pad than the factory one. Ran 10 heavy slugs through it off a bench to see how far off POA was man my shoulder was not happy.
  2. Not sure if this is the right area for this, but here goes. I noticed when handling my shotgun it feels smooth to the touch nothing grabbing back at the hands . Does stippling really make a good (long term solution) giving a aggressive grip that will improve the guns controllablity during a match. I'm also thinking its just a cool looking dirt collecting add on that I'll regret , and really more trouble than a functional fix. What the consonance among 3 gun shotgun users here Do it, or Not?
  3. bigmatt sounds like your having one of those good days.
  4. Just my part to help if you have any interest Called Taran Tactical:There very helpful and nice people too. Spring on the way we shall see what improvement if any it makes. Also Taran said they can do a complete trigger job in a Stoeger. There you go
  5. Guys does anyone know if the springs that Taran is swapping out will work in a Stoeger M 3000. I'm calling them tommarrow
  6. Jesse for ME a 7 1/2 pound trigger is just not what I'd like to have. I know its a shotgun, and in this case not a defensive weapon . So I have no problem with wanting to improve it. Since the whole Stoeger thing got started as the best keep secret (Dollar-Wise) I thought it be fun for the do it your selfers to improve there own triggers same as a Glock. I've even watched a couple of guys on YouTube showing us how to open up a loading port , add a big button safety, and install extension tube. Of coarse the key word here is SAFELY (just me though) Its my hobby.
  7. Any body been playing with there trigger on there Stoeger. I was thinking of something like a 25 cent trigger job, smooth out rough machine marks and a dab of molly grease. I've seen the trigger mods from MOA to lighten it up, and Tom might have got the best fix. A stock trigger is at 7 1/2 lbs.
  8. Your right Glockmeister; Now lets get work on doing a 25 cent trigger job, and hope that Wolf will start making Stoeger Competion Spring Kits, and will have a 2 to 3 lb trigger
  9. OK-OK you guys put a bug in my head thinking I going to get busted for a 922r violation. Ii'll constantly be looking over my shoulder at the range for ATF agents geeeeeeez. Called Tom @ MOA placed my order for a disconnector and Fowler. $35.00 bucks for cheep insurance.
  10. Man I wish they were selling them for $399.00 near me. These are 5 bones plus around here, feel like I'm getting ripped NO not really compared to a $1150. 00 Berreta 1301 from Cablas the Stoeger M3000 is still a deal
  11. I have to say Tom owner of MOA, is great to deal with he's kind of making his nitch with this Stoeger M3000 . If he doesn't pick up the phone be patient he will return your calls. Has most every part mod you'll need, and doesn't mind helping answering even my dum questions.
  12. 26" barrel ( Sports Mans Wear house) $489.00 + tax. They ship store to store no extra charge, or you can spend more and, get one done up by MOA not sure what he's charging
  13. Honestly If all of this rant were TRUE, Team Berenlli, Noveski, and some Army team would all be in the court rooms with head lines on Gun Illustrated warning all to be sure that any shotgun shooters with extended mag tube better comply with 922r code. Im with Jesse and Tom this is all speculation on the part of some to make an issue where there isn't one NOW, but keep stirirng it up it will become one.
  14. Picked up some parts from MOA . Stoeger parts Tom building some nice stuff; I'm happy
  15. I've called and spoken with Stoeger and Nordic Tech department . Both are saying the shotgun had to meet those requirements to be able to sold in this country. They cannot understand where this stuff gets started. Call them yourself
  16. Thanks Ryan, Looks like CDNN are out of stock. Ill keep hunting around.
  17. Jesse; When ordering the Briley choke to fit the Stoeger, I should order Benelli LM is that correct, and Thanks
  18. Is there any brand of choke out there that will have the same threading for Stoeger M3000 looking for a extended knurled that would tighten up all the way, a do it all choke that will run Slugs, Buck & Bird shot.
