  1. To get use to recoil Test different slugs for group off a bench, you'll never notice recoil again . 1301 excellent choice
  2. Thanks Braxton: $35.00 not worth it. For me its plastic to plastic on this one, thanks DSK
  3. Gen 3 , Polymer to save wear on mags, I like ZEV triggers
  4. I'd like some help on a over sized mag release. I'm looking for polymer,(not) a aluminum mag release; with the large screw on metal button The Glock store has two both look nice, but not sure ?. JP use to make one, or even SJC. Will these release the mag in a DOS holster ??
  5. BAM; Try TTI for the springs there worth trying for the price.
  6. Jeremy; Like your out of the box thinking Thanks for the pic Tom
  7. Pic's of the welded shell release, Please
  8. Nice rifle Steve; Primary Arms scope mounted
  9. No test proof, but I'm starting to see that with these kind of changes made to achieve a lighter trigger, and softer perceived recoil. Seems to Require more cleanings to assure reliability.Would that be over all conscience here just had a round fail to feed. Lighter 12 lb recoil spring was my first thought, but will tear down, and clean and (NOT over lube as prescribe by ZEV)
  10. Sit back drink a red bull, and use a spotting scope on a tripod.
  11. Distance is easy with a range finder. Spending time, and ammunition ( Learning) to read the wind using mirage is frustrating
  12. OK JBP55; I know your a straight shooter LOL just funn you. I'm trying to understand the big difference between TTI, vs, Dawson vs, Sevigny sights there was a time when everyone here was on the band wagon for these too. I like a fast simple sight picture, not a bulls eye, or tactical carry sight. For me just straight up easy to find. So why are you and others doing the TTI sights change. Have you noticed a first shot time difference, or sight acquisition improvement that you tested with shot timer.
  13. Thanks Got to try that PMC X . Whats it like at 300 yrds, and is it a snappy recoil round as a 5.56
  14. Thanks Tom; This issue of noise was started many post ago, and it seems trivial to me. Wouldn't hard chroming ,or NP3 coating after polishing it smooth eliminate drag, and decrease friction better ? another opportunity LOL
  15. I like adjustable rear sights; Dawson makes one of the only adjustable rear sight combo's out there, but Just don't understand WHY Dawson suggest that tall front sight with there adjustable rear ? Using a adjustable rear site you'd think would work with most front sights. It seems it only would only affect closer targets, and most zero 25, or 35 yards any way. Has anyone talked this over with Dawson on why that overly tall front sight, and is there other options. Dawson adjustable rear with a Taran front sight
  16. Honestly I'm not sure why you all make a issue about polishing the mag tube ? When I fire a gun I always wear double ear protection, and the boom from the gun can't hear any zipper sound what so ever
  17. Which ever extensions you choose see if there compatible with the magwell your planning on using. :-o
  18. The Clamp is notorious for the Cooooooool factor so I run one NO! NO! really just add protection I subscribe to murryfees law
  19. BOOM

    Glock Magwell

Never seen a Dawson Ice Heavy magwell the one with insert up close. Does Dawson's Black finish match up with the factory Glocks
  20. Other than price not sure why you picked the ALG. The mouth looks small, and very little weight added. It does looks right for conceal carry gun low profile. but if works for you
  21. Haven't done my search yet , but don't you have to change out allot to get it 922r complaint anyway ? I agree that a door opportunity might have just opened for someone. These guns defiantly have cool factor but, are they really that popular in 3 gun read some where that mag guns like these have there own class now.
  22. That did it; I'm going to hardware store. Keep posting pic's with material improvement. Thanks up front
  23. Rumblestrip; This forum has a vendors area; look up MOA Precision, Tom's posted that his new web site is up with a link.
