  1. Listen to Shannon Smith's podcast for his RTS2 feelings. I have an STS2 on my CO gun. It's durable, but has a smaller screen than the RTS2 and DPP. This will not be an issue if you do enough dry fire

    Nose dive

My Czechmate mags suffered from this if I loaded more than 26. With CZC base pads and Grams kits they hold 28/29. I sent them to Grams who reprofiles the mags where they funnel from double to single stack. This cured the problem of the rounds not stacking directly on top of each other and nose diving. That said, I have never had the problem on my TS .40 or CTS 9mm, both of which have CZC base pads and in the case of the TS, Grams followers.
  3. As discussed - here are my pics from today's match - showing the CTS fits in the IDPA box. Also I have included a pic of the guns weight with mag using the match provided scales.
  4. I will take the pics. I can't remember if I have ever done an inbox start. I mainly shoot USPSA Limited
  5. Stuart - that's my gun I believe. You did the work on it.
  6. Here is a pic of the baseplate thickness. It is a constant thickness from front to back. Also, here is a pic of the mag in the gun, just protruding slightly from the magwell.
  7. I just measured again. The CZC adds 0.5mm to the overall length of the gun, My baseplates are much thinner than the ones shown above, meaning I can angle the gun up in the box leaving daylight around the entire gun (I just drew a box). I'll take it with me to the match this weekend and try it. I'll make sure I bring a regular slide too!
  8. OK, I don't have a box, but did some very accurate measurements and it appears to fit - length, height and width all seem OK. Height with 18 round mags and a thin plastic baseplate is 5.930" Length is 8.75". The CZC magwell doesn't increase length or height.
  9. Are you sure the CZC magwell doesn’t fit when using the CZ75 frame?
  10. Yes. If you can deal with the screws that lose their threads...
  11. SP01 with a milled slide and a DPP. Heavy to minimize flip. Great trigger. Totally reliable.
  12. The Smoky Mountain holster is excellent. I just picked one up. Great fit. Adjustable retention. BOSS hanger in custom colors. And it shipped REALLY fast. I have not bought anything from them before, but I am impressed.
  13. Oh and yes, this one it does look like an indicator!
  14. Both the Guga Ribas and Suomi ASE holsters create wear on the sides and underside of the trigger guard, and on the underside of the frame. They do this on my TS, TSO and Czechmate, all of which I dry fire a lot. It doesn't bother me as the guns are competition tools.
  15. Similar. The holster looks the same. The belt attachment and drop is different.
  16. Scorpion load for 16" barrel : 3.0 Autocomp with 147 Bayou comes in at 125PF. I tested 105, 120, 124, 147 and 160. This load gave me the least dot bounce at 25 yards. OAL is 1.160. I use Fiocchi SPP. This has proved totally reliable in USPSA matches to date. In fact I have only cleaned the gun once since buying it a year ago. The only issue - 147 Bayou don't run well in the CZC extensions. They bulge too much. The problem goes away with the Taylor Freelannce extension.

  18. Do you want to shoot .40 or 9?
  19. Hmm, I spent $1600 on my GT (new) about 3 years ago. I had to buy a Slide Ride - about $200. I recently added an MBX big stick, and a couple of base pads to the mags it shipped with. Say $200 for that. I put in a flat trigger from Henning which I am not sure adds much to the feel or pull. Can't recall how much I spent on the Eric mount, altho I started a thread on it. So by my math we are about $900-1000 apart...
  20. 4lb. Holy cow. Lemon laws!! But the TS triggers are great (I have a TS and a TSO), and easy to work on
  21. Go the JJ route instead with a Tanfo GT? I have one as a back ups gun to my Czechmate. It works just as well and is much less expensive.
  22. I think Bullitt is a 1968 movie with Steve McQueen. Bullet weights can be extrapolated from here:http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Bullitt
  23. I paid $2100 used (reduced from $2400 in a store sale).
