I have 19 MBX mags. All use MBX guts. I shoot 9 major out of them. Never modify anything. Gen 1 or gen 2.

The QC on those dies is questionable at best.

I dont find that to be the case, but if it works for you, more power to ya.

I roll size before decapping/sizing.

My process used to be... clean dirty brass in walnut media... Roll Size...lube... and load. Due to covid, I decided to start processing all my brass up front as I had the extra time. Since switching to pre processed brass, I have not had any issues with primers or other stoppages. The press just runs and runs and runs. I used to fight it constantly with non processed brass. Moving forward, I will process everything I load beforehand.

How big of a bench

Custom made gaming mouse pad. Lots of vendors offer this service, however they all seem to lead back to the same print shops based out of China. This one specifically was held up in wuhan for over 2 months at the start of the outbreak. -

Under the shell plate, primer slide area, primer rocker, and case feed housing all show wear. -
If anyone is looking for a used Venom, I've got a full size hybrid up in the classifieds.

Ive swapped over to them for everything. Hands down the best hold down and decapping dies on the market at this time. I use them when processing pistol and rifle brass. No more dented necks or broken pins from wobbling brass at high speeds. The decapping is also MUCH less likely to break when a case is mis fed into the shell plate and it ends up on top of the shell plate at station 1 as the press down strokes. Very much looking forward to getting their new shell plates as well for processing.

How big of a bench

This is a 10x10 room that had some built in shelving already. I started with the L shaped benches on the right and then grew into the one on the left overtime.Benches are all 30 inches deep. I made them so you could disassemble them via carriage bolts. I also have adjustable feet for my unlevel foundation. -

I would go as big as you can in the space that you have. Its never a bad thing to have extra bench space. -
Giraud Power Trimmer vs on-press trimmer?

Im sure this is great for things like PRS rounds and what not , but doing bulk cases would be a nightmare. -
Giraud Power Trimmer vs on-press trimmer?

I process 223, 330 blackout and covert 223-300 blackout. The 1500 works great for the processing 223 and 300 blackout. I did use this for converting 223-300 for a while but kept having issues with brass swarf clogging the hose due to larger chips. This was both in the manifold and the shop vac tube itself (I used a clear smooth tube, this works much better than anything corrugated). The RT 1500 spins at about 4,800/RPMs per Dillon's techs. I switched to the Bosch set up from Mark 7. The Bosch router runs from 8,000-25,000 RPMs depending in the setting you choose. I was having issues with the mark 7 collar conversion kit as there is a slot in the unit. This is to help with air flow but it also causes small chips to fly out all over the place. The unit also comes with a drilling bit. While this bit made awesome cuts... its design would pull brass up into the motor area and cause excessive heat quickly, even with the built in fan. I have since switched to the Fast and Friendly Honey Badger kit with a boring bar for the Bosch router. The boring bar pushed the swarf out, not up like the drill but did. This has been the best set up i've used so far. Ran 10K of 223-300 blackout without a single issue. Both units offer a 1 year warranty. The Bosch will be cheaper to replace. -

300 Blackout collator is very slow!

The opening of the drop area is what makes them flip correctly. That is what it was added. You might be able to create your own shim. -
300 Blackout collator is very slow!

I use Small rifle plate with nothing done to it. I have the silver tab that I slide as far to the right as I can. Unit runs very well. I find it feeds slower when the unit has only 50-100 cases in it. You need a lot in there to feed well and keep up with automation. Post up a video of the unit running from a few angles and maybe we can offer some more help. -
Any reviews of Feedinator case feeder yet?

Care to post up a video of your current set up running so we can help more? I have hot rodded quite a few dillons to run north of 5K /hr with minimal issues. -

I dont know many that reload these cases, but one sponsored shooter of theirs reloads a whole bunch of them. Maybe @SSGJohnV can chime in with his process.
