  1. The fix for such things generally is not the mag. It's the mag release. Given that it's a JP, I'd definitely call them.
  2. How many coils is the included spring? Anyone know? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. Someone was letting a Crimson trace go for cheap so I picked it up and mounted forward of my CMore. Only issue is if I curl my thumb over the Taccom CF guard it blocks the laser. Currently debating what to do. If anything.... Other issue is now I can't get rid of my cat during dry fire!
  4. I added a second screw at one point. I am going to go to 4 screws. Tap them as 8-32. I am sure this will solve the issue. However, as I said, I need a barrel nut because once I remove this one I am fairly certain it's done. Every removal results in a few rolled edges. After a few removals you are pretty much out of luck. KVP doesn't sell their nut independently. I'd actually be fine with a steel nut. I don't care about the weight so much. I just can't seem to locate one that looks like it would work.
  5. My Taccom barrel nut is pretty much done. Anyone know if there a better replacement nut that the CF tube would work with? I'd prefer not to use the Taccom one again. I've had to remove it 2 or 3 times and reinstall for various reasons, and you can only do it so many times before the edges roll significantly. This would be my third one if I order a new one. I'd actually be fine with just tossing them every so often if they weren't $25. I love the CF guard, but the mounting screw backs out a bit, and then guard slips, and then the screw hole in CF grows, and a seemingly unwinnable battle begins to keep it snug. My plan tonight was to remove the nut and drill and tap additional screws, but I soon realized the nut isn't coming off without ruining it.
  6. No. It's not lightened, and it has a fairly heavy dot on it with the Vortex Razor. I'm sure I could shave an ounce or more by changing dots. I was more curious if it was the norm that the dot dips and rises. I'm so used to seeing more of the rise and fall of irons or my AR9 dot. Sounds like it is, and the the tuning has to due with lightening the mass.
  7. I came here looking for answers to the same issue. The dot dips and returns as opposes rises and returns. Im not sure if this is the norm for a slide ride dot. #11 recoil spring. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. Yup. I used a dental pick to get mine out Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. You've checked the following? There is nothing in the chamber. Look real close. I was fooled before on this. A little ring of brass can sit real flush in there making it hard to see. The extractor isn't hanging up the bolt. I've had a combo where they rubbed so hard it gouged the bolt. The hammer isn't hanging up the bolt. The buffer and tube they replaced are for carbines. If all are in check. I agree with Homie. Most run a 14-15 oz. bolt with a 6 oz. "ish" buffer. While your total weight is the same it would merit looking at it.
  10. Your video makes me wonder if your trigger isn't hanging up on bolt a bit? OOB is a flaw of the platform. It readily happens to most when stepped brass splits in the chamber. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. Don't drive yourself mad and forget to shoot. All of these things make a difference, but many are subtle and aren't going to significantly improve your performance over a really good shoulder mount and a load you learn the feel of. I've literally run a .223 spring one day and in my notes wrote how great it was only to go back two days later and decide the .308 was better. I've setup two guns side by side differently and shot them both. Feels are different. Results not so much. I like the blitzkrieg and a smalley for what it's worth. 14oz buffer. 12. Ive quit worrying about pf. Find a safe charge that produces good splits and tight patterns with the fastest split u can shoot on paper. IMO I think you want to gauge everything on dot return and not bounce or flatness. I use Titegroup and I use the same charge for both 125 and 147. There's little to no difference in feel or groups or splits. In my 16" barrel they produce close the same velocity. Which to me means pay attention to the powder charge and not the resulting pf. 3.2/125 135 range 3.2/147 155 range I also tried a 3.7/125 tryng to get the comp to work. It made little difference. Anything under 3 grains was too sluggish for me. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  13. Updating this for the future searchers. CZ 18 round mags +2 TT basebads and 11 coil Grams = 23 rounds
  14. 15 yd. zero for me. Rarely see things over 25 yds.
  15. We've all been there! I ordered 2 extendos with grams guts. I'll keep two 16s and an extendo on the belt. If I get to taking it seriously I'll get another mag for sure.
  16. TT makes a pad for the 18 https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Taran-Tactical-Firepower-Base-Pad-for-CZ75-2-P4119.aspx I'm not real serious about CO right now so I'm good with not having all the gear. I'm kind of thinking 2 extended mags and 1 16 rounder for barney/backup is adequate for casual play?
  17. Thanks! They are the 18 round mags. For some reason I thought they were 19. TTI makes a +2 for the 18 rounders. I am guessing with Grams guts you can get to 22+1 with them. I going to resist the inclination to buy all new tubes so I can get one extra round!

    CO Mag Questions

I've searched the forum, and not finding exactly what I am looking for. I'm sure it's been answered before so I apologize if so. I have some Mec-Gar 16 round mags from my production days. The accu-shadow I got for CO came with two 19 round mags. I am now looking for the correct base pads for the 140mm CO rule set using what I have. Is this even possible or do I need to start with the 17 round mags? Also, do I need to change springs/followers when extending?
  19. I purchased the gun. Very pleased. Case closed!
  20. Right. I just wondered if there was at one time a configuration CZC was selling NIB with an optic on it.
  21. I have run across a basically new CZC Accu Shadow with a Vortex Razor on it. The owner says it was purchased new this way from a LGS, and I have no reason to doubt. It has the original box, etc.. However, I don't see anything like it on the CZC website. Is it possible it's a one-off or now discontinued?
  22. I use a little skate tape on it. Ensures your hand won't slide back when wet or sweaty.
  23. This is going to be all over the board! Mine is 6MOA. It's bigger than I like (I prefer a 2MOA), but the thought is that 25 yds. and under the bigger dot isn't getting in the way of any accuracy, and the size of it allows more brightness to fight sunny days.
  24. Something along these lines. You can find them on eBay cheaper. No heat required, but the ridges the wrench bite on roll very easily. https://m.ebay.com/itm/Barrel-Wrench-Tool-Armorers-Steel-Tool-Gunsmith-Rifle-Removal-Tactical-556-223-/132529070793 Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
