  1. Thanks! Now to just wait for the results to be posted on the USPSA site.
  2. Is there a calculator that has PCC on it? The one I know doesn't. Just shot a Classifer match today and want to see where I stand before the update is run...I'm impatient
  3. I think he is referring to Pistol Caliber Carbine Irons in Steel Challenge....I'm not too familiar with Steel Challenge but I can't see that being a very popular division.
  4. If you keep an eye out on Amazon the polymer click switch version can be had for $250ish in certain colors and dot sizes.
  5. I got my C-More on my ULW zero'ed today at 25 yards. I plan on zeroing it farther out but it took me quite of bit of time to even get it on paper. Luckily the public range was dead this morning and the RO spotted me and I eventually got it on paper. 3.8 TG with the 124gr Xtreme grouped the best but it wasn't stellar. Around 2" but I guess with a red dot it could be worse. Going to load up more and test them at further distance and get it zero'ed for 50yards. All my reloads and some remanufactured ammo I had functuned great.
  6. You guys rock. The vice grips plus a mini hammer I use for gun work did the trick. Thankfully I had the magazine pointed away from me as after it started moving I gave it one more tap and the internals rocketed across the room. Will finish up the MBX tomorrow or Thursday as I don't have time now to do all the prep work on the mag and follower. Last thing I need to do before hitting the range. I got my Hiperfire trigger installed after dinner.
  7. I am new to Glocks and the stock basepad seems near impossible to remove. I tried watching a few YouTube videos and they are all with standard basepads...didn't work for me. I can easily remove my XD, Kahr and Pmag basepads...but this is driving me nuts. Anyone have any tips on how to get this off? Need to install my MBX Mini. Thanks
  8. Thanks for the heads up, just orderedthe 3G shipped for $109.00 with coupon code LDD.
  9. Thanks. The 1 of 2 clubs that allow PCC appears to be switching to UML this season. They were a 3GN club last year. I know last year the few times they used their longer bay they had 6 or 8" plates around 75 yards for the PCC shooters while the rest were shooting at gongs at 200. I was thinking a 50 yard zero would work but I might have to rethink that. Have to hook into how much drop I should expect.
  10. Looks nice. I am probably going to pick up a Hiperfire for mine as well. Going to function check the upper firer with the dreaded milspec PSA trigger first then start swapping things around. Thanks Flatland I might have to pick up some JHP's for the longer stuff and find a load for the plated that will shoot close enough zero.
  11. I should have all of the components for my PCC in the next couple of days. What distance should I zero my C-More at? I picked up the 4 MOA dot because I will also being using this for 3gun and not just USPSA. Will either being using 124gr or 147gr Xtremes depending on what my guns likes. Thanks
  12. I just got my Taccom upper in, it feels like a toy compared to my standard railed 223 upper in a good way. This thing is super light. My lower should hit my FFL tomorrow and my C-More will show up tomorrow as well. Hope to hit the range the following weekend with some test loads. Going to use 124gr Xtremes first. I don't think 147gr will work at longer 3gun ranges but I have a bunch loaded so I will try them out as well.
  13. I ordered one of these uppers last week, I plan on running plated bullets through it. I shouldn't have much build up other than powder so I think a shotgun bore brush with some solvent on it will do the trick. I don't have it yet, would a 10 or 12 gauge bore brush work?
  14. Botach has them for $35 shipped. Shipped same day for me the other day.
  15. I wonder why...mini panic buying time. I am patiently waiting
  16. Yah their complete upper comes with the BCG. I will go with the ramped barrel. Now to just figure out what to do about ammo.
  17. Thanks. Can I ask what ammo/loads you're using? I load 147gr Xtremes for my 9mm guns already but don't think that is the right load especially for some of the farther shots in 3gun. Thinking 115 or 124gr instead will be with Titegroup.
  18. I just ordered a PX9 Rifle Lower last night with the MOE Furniture, once I get it I can upload some pics.
  19. I just ordered a PSA PX9 BIllet complete lower last night and I'm looking at picking up this upper for use in USPSA and a lil bit of 3Gun (only 1 of the 2 clubs I shoot at for 3gun allows PCC). Should I order the ramped barrel version? Looking at the 14" carbon fiber hand guard version. If not this upper is there something else I should be looking at in the $400-600 range? Thanks
  20. It depends on if you have the time or desire to reload the cheaper 55gr pills. I buy components in bulk and I'm around $180/k that are more accurate than factory. Ranges around me don't go past 200 yards. CCI 450 Primers, Ramshot TAC and 55gr Hornady If I had to buy brass I wouldn't bother but I get a ton of 1x fired brass for free, just have to do the brass prep. I've got enough brass now that if I can't tell it's 1x it goes into the scrap bucket. I do keep my own multi fired that I pick up from practice and load work ups for more practice ammo.
  21. About 4 months ago I switched to a vegan diet (I don't consider myself a vegan or a damn dirty hippy by any means) with the plan of a few times a year indulgence of venison I have taken myself. It has really helped with my energy levels and I have been dropping a 1lb or so a week with no changes to my physical activity levels. My pre-match breakfast it's much different than a normal day. Bowl of healthy cereal with almond milk. Giant smoothie of fruits and veggies. I keep myself hydrated during the match and consume a Cliff Bar or two through out the day. For longer 3gun matches I try to bring additional snacks to hold me over.
  22. Will the upper work on one of the PSA Glock lowers?
  23. I use the homemade Dillon style spray. I shoot a couple pumps from the spray bottle into a plastic container from Chinese soup take out. Then dump brass and shake it all around and let it sit for about 5-10 mins before throwing into the case feeder. I had one issue awhile back where I sprayed the lube directly into the container with the brass already in it. I had a semi squib during a match (joy). The bullet left the barrel however it only went about 5 feet. I'm thinking an excessive amount of wet lube was present in the case and it caused the power to clump together and not go off properly.
  24. I am looking around $150 for the rail $100 on the gas block. I am willing to be a lil bit flexible but a $250 rail is out of the question. Obviously if I can cut from other spots I could free up funds. I haven't set a budget per say for the entire build but I have some ball parks in areas I am looking to spend.
