When you get your dies correct, put witness marks with red or orange paint will let you know quickly if things aren’t correct.

Zzt is correct, E3 or Claydot. I used 200 gr. Blue bullet , soft shooting, reasonably clean

How clean/dirty is Autocomp?

I now use 3n38 very clean, sometimes hard to get, friend shot someone’s 38sc with autocomp had great things to say, always willing to try something else, never know. However, seems every open gun is set up somewhat different, comps, holes, springs, etc. etc. we shall see pound of autocomp is worth the effort.

Bill, were they working fine with 38sc? Then exact mags gave you problems with 9 ?

So if I use a 7mm pad on my 140 gen2 mags I would need to go to a 13 coil spring rather than the current 11? I shoot open and already have big sticks.

Thanks Rob, since I shoot open thinking of putting 7mm on my 140 mags, don’t need the extra round of 4 mm, just thinking of easier reloading on classifiers with the slight extra length. Is there any downside to using 7mm? Thanks

Need recommendations for some low profile base pads for my new magwell, gens2 9/38 cal. Taran, MBx, , etc.? Old Dawson’s no longer fit. Was having some mag jams (my fault) with large Dawson magwell. Thanks

Chased this very “push feed” problem on a limited gun . The space between the extractor and the breech face needed to be increased, even if is in spec. I got a tuned extractor from Brazos, problem solved.

Since that was very tight (try drawing and unloading with an open gun), I think stepping outside to show clear would have been a requirement rather than a penalty, but he did announce at the shooters meeting. It would have made more sense to have that on stage 4 so shooters would be forced to shoot around the no shoot instead of leaning and falling out of the box to shoot the last target.
