Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'll give that a shot. Thanks.
  2. I'm not familiar with Red Hill. I'll check them out. I think whoever builds it will need the gun. I doubt blue guns are available. I am hoping to find someone local so I don't have to send it off. Thanks!
  3. Do any of you CZ guys know anyone who makes a Holster for this model? A P01 holster will not work because the dust cover is too large. CZ Custom does not make a Holster for this model.
  4. So based on my above criteria would you recommend Silhouette or true Blue?
  5. I have plenty of powders for creating light loads for the wife, kids and new shooters. I have a pretty good stock of WW231/HP38, Titegroup, AA#2, etc., and actually have a pretty good inventory of loaded ammo for that purpose. They don't shoot near as much as I do. I am looking for a powder just for the medium to heavy loads I shoot and to put more back in storage. I'd like to create more 124 gr. ball ammo close to NATO specs to store and 124 gr. ammo that comes close the 124gr. +P Gold Dot or HST I carry. My carry guns are a G19, G19 Roland Special and a G43X w/15 round Shield Arms mags. But I also like to play around with about 10 other 9x19 handguns from Beretta, CZ, M&P, Sig, etc. Most of my previous heavier loadings were done with HS-6, Power Pistol and AA#7. But I know times have changed and their are probably better alternatives, hence my post. I have been in love with the 9x19 since I bought my first Beretta 92FS from Long Beach Police supply during the Rodney King Riots. I am looking forward to experimenting with True Blue.
  6. Great Info. Thank You for sharing. True Blue looks to be on my short list of powders as I don't load powder puff loads.
  7. From some internet reading it sounds like Ramshot True Blue and Silhouette are highly regarded for most bullet weights from std to +P loads.
  8. So for non VV powders you think something like Autocomp, HS6, AA#5, CFE?
  9. OK, I know this has probably been discussed many times, but I am assuming things have changed over the years. I am wanting to stock way up on a single pistol powder that can be used to load from standard to full power in the 9x19. By standard I mean WW Whitebox, Fiochi, S&B, etc. standard factory loadings in 115gr. and 124 gr. By full power I mean Federal HST, Speer Gold Dot Defensive loadings in 124gr. I load FMJ, JHP, Hi Tek Coated, etc. Is there such a thing as a single powder that can cover this range of loads?
  10. Hey Guys, I have about 5k 9x19 rounds I want to load up using the following components. 5k 147g. Speer Gold Dots 5k Starline new brass 5k CCI 550 (Small pistol magnum) primers I am looking to duplicate the 147gr. +P factory load I get out of my stock G19. which run about 1025 FPS. I am looking for a powder and/or load recommendation that will get me to 1025 fps with minimum flash/muzzle blast. I have been handloading for about 30 years so understand the concept of start low and work up. Thank You in advance for your assistance.
