For those shooters that are using a wide or extra wide thumb safety for their strong side thumb, are you using the same size for the weak hand thumb, how does this affect when shooting weak hand only?

When pressing the GO button it doesn’t stick but sometimes it show #1 in the shot box before any shots are fired. If you shoot 6 shot #7 shows up and no first shot time? Any explanation does that about half the time.

Yeah Tony, forget the 6k for the gun, match fees gas and mileage on you vehicle. I forgot targets, pasters ,holster, mags and all the assorted accessories crap we all buy. PS and your spouse nagging you about missing kids birthdays and your anniversary. All in fun.

Know all about the brass issues. Has anyone shot the tungsten sleeve Akai and they’re non-tungsten sleeve? Weight according to akai is only about 3-4 oz. more but centered over the trigger area, rather than hanging out in front. I think limecat also has a similar setup.

Read with great interest all the lead issues as it relates to your blood level. Mine last year was 6. 12+ months later it was 11. I do shoot some indoor ranges mostly new ranges with so called state of the art ventilation. 2 matches outdoors a month and 1-2 practice outdoors per week. SO I purchased a lead test kit from Lowe’s. Per directions the following results, rubbing test strip on a lead fishing sinker test turned med- dark purple, definitely positive, no surprise. Next the wooded plywood sheet with my dry media tumbler and my squirrel cage media separater reside no lead present, test strip stayed white. Went over to my Mark7 1050 unit ran test strip over the plastic guard and on the aluminum base, positive lite to medium purple/reddish. Just thought I would put my results out there.
