Had several failure to extract issues. New round feeds up from mag and will not chamber because the just fired brass is still in the chamber. If I take the mag and round out and let the slide forward I cannot pull it back no matter how hard I try. SO I put a wood dowel down the barrel and with some pressure push the spent brass out and the slide back at the same time. The spent brass seems to be SLIGHTLY bulged at the bottom (glock bulge?) but since I use a dillion chamber checker on every round after reloading I don't know how this happens..Just started happening after at least 5k+ rounds. Happened twice in the last 200 rounds.??????

I know these guns (accu shadow) are super accurate with 9mm 124 gr., how are they with 147 extremes?

Anyone use a full tungsten guide rod in this gun. Since it only weighs 1 oz. more that stock, does it make any difference in muzzle rise or recoil?

If you bullet is getting knocked around as it hits the feed ramp something is mighty wrong. If there is that little bullet left in the case then you are using the wrong bullet or loading way too long. Infinity recommends that in their 40, (aet barrel) you load 1.210, that is longer than most 40 which load 1.135 - 1.180. I will ask them why so long next time I have an opportunity to speak with them. I used 1.210 OAL (200gr blue bullet,vitn320) in a friends STI and they shot very accurate and fed without jamming. As someone suggested, EVERY GUN/BARREL is different, you have to test for yourself.

I run mine with the lube no feeding problems, in fact it may help.

Read all the material, but still have some questions for an xl650: What happens when the die locks the press, how do you get it unlocked ? Does it only detect double and no powder charge ? What happens if the charge is off by say 20% because you are now using a different powder? THANKS...

DRobson, what brand of coated bullets?

My 5.4 SVI sight tracker with AET will be here this November. The AET supposedly is more accurate, if that matters to you, I don't know the cost upgrade. Front sight is .100 wide with a 1.5mm (.060) green fiber optic. The extra .5 that you mention helps (how much, who knows), at longer ranges as does the below 2lb trigger. All of this stuff is personal preference, but Brandon can help you dial in what would work for you. Call to see if there are any SVI 'shooters' in your area and you can get their input.
