What solo loads are you using? Try Alliant e-3 as a substitute for clays, use the same grain or use slightly less for the same PF.

I started this post and after all I got a SVI. It was a gun that someone apparently ordered and then cancelled, it was a 5.4 sight tracker, which is what I wanted. Got to pick the rest of the details including the two-tone finish. Best of all it should be ready by Nov. 2014. If I had to wait 12-18 months I would have bought an Akai. I have shot both and can state that they are both top notch guns. The SV is more money, but since I did not get a firm price on an Akai, my GUESS is that the SV is ABOUT 10-20 percent more. Everyone has different needs and for me the extra cash was not an issue, since its my kids inheritance money anyway. So they get less, but a really nice gun in my will. Thanks to all who replied, Friend/fellow shooter had Manny and spoke with him, he convinced me the UGLY Manny was what I need, with the DAA a VERY close second. You could flip a coin, both are great.

One gun, list is between a Manny and DAA magnetic. Does the lock lever on the DAA push down to release lock with your thumb? Also is it possible to coat the areas on the Manny to prevent marks on the gun?

Has anyone used the Whidden Gunworks Machined Toolhead (non-floating) for Dillion 650. Is this the same,better or worse than the standard dillion toolhead?

BeerBaron, Is the lock lever on the DAA (magnetic) easy to unlock while moving from a seated start or whatever else someone thinks up, how far does it stick out so it can be flipped off easily. The Manny looks to stick out quite far from the photos I have seen. Thanks..

Yes, only plated MAY give you a problem with the plated coming off and key-holing the round in the AET barrels..

How does the magnetic differ from the tension knob on the DAA?

I guess once you get familiar where the lock is, you won't be fumbling around to find it. Todd7446 mention about the block moving around in the AA, is this on the plastic or aluminum block? Could you explain how the Manny 3 position system works? Thanks....

Since this is an ever changing item I thought i would ask for some advice. Talked to a friend who just recently purchased a Double Alpha Racemaster with the optional rod that goes down with an adjustable piece that goes into the muzzle end. He said that the positive lock makes it impossible (short of breakage) to knock the pistol out once the lever in the back is locked. Another said on 'chair starts' and other movement he likes the Super Ghost because you can knock the lever off (if you want) after you get up and/or start running. Would like to hear first hand comments on what you have pros/cons. Gun is Infinity 5.4 2011. Super retention is very important, so if I knock into something (chair/tree) or someone before I go up to the line to make ready I don't want to look down and see my gun on the ground.. Thanks..

Kelly use that n320. 9MM 147 xtreme 3.3 grains minor shoots like a 22 magnum 40 200grain 4.0gr. Your guns may be different.

New to 40 reloading. Have some from a friend. Half of the rounds looked slight bulged near the bottom, should I just discard? Is this the infamous glock bulge? Can I remove the bulge at the first station (dillion 650) ? Hate to run thru the round again after its finished. I understand that removing the bulge shortens brass life, and how do you tell the end is near before reloading. Have not bought any 40 cal. dies yet.

Recoil will be hardly noticeable. I also hesitated to go to a 40, but properly set up while more recoil than a 9 it should be OK in that gun. See if someone who has a 40 will let you shoot it. Call the factory, they may have a someone nearby so you can test.

Read all the posts referring to your new grip. How much weight did it add to the gun? Was the recoil softer? What now is your total weight?. And I guess it moved the balance more to the rear. Thanks..........

Also let some Green locktite ooz (technical term) under you sights, front and rear. The green is for already assembled part and will wick under your sight bases and help provide more security.

I wonder if SV will make a 'stroker', similar to Akais, seems I have read good things about this mod..
