  1. No, not my actual trigger finger but the finger next to the pinky on my weak hand. Little knot at the base of the finger, painful to bend all the way in. Warm water and a slight message seems to help. Interested in other remedies...
  2. Probably the shade. Leave the plastic 'canopies' off when shooting in shade. I chronoed some 45acp blue bullets and it tested fine in the shade with the 'canopies' but when I shot 9mm blue no readings, took off the canopy and everything worked...
  3. Use a case gauge all the time and every couple hundred+ rounds check your specs with a caliper just in case a die came loose or something..

    CZ Accu Shadow

Been listed as in-stock at Oak Hill for several days, is the craze over with?
  5. That's are lot of variation with n310, maybe because its a very fast powder. Wonder how n320 works since I intend to use that in 40. Thanks for the examples...
  6. Some powders like E-3 get faster with lowers temp most get slower like Clays, probably not enough to worry about unless you are going to a major match where they chrono. SO chrono as close to the match as you can with the same expected temps and add .1 grain so there will not be any surprises at the chrono. Different chronos can read slightly different. Keep everything the same, primers, bullets, OAL and crimp etc.....
  7. Does anyone have a picture of this, I can't find it on his web site???
  8. Works great EXCEPT the metal on the bottom of the holster digs into my thigh. Thought about something simple like gluing a foam pad down there, any other ideas?
  9. 9mm 147gr blue bullets 3.1 gr vit n320 OAL 1.135 shoots like a 22magnum out of an M&P pro 5 inch, easily makes minor 130pf+. Will shoot even softer out of my new accushadow (I hope)...
  10. Very good for your first match! As beerbaron said watch those extra shots, I had a very bad habit of doing that for a long time. Many times there would be 3-4 As on one target so watch your results as you walk the scoring after you shoot. Being able to slow down a bit and try to call your shots will go a long way to helping solve the 'extra shot syndrome' and the 'fear of mikes'... PS. After watching the 'world shoot' in Florida I noticed a lot of the GMs take extra shot but I assume they were necessary..
  11. Agree, excellent responses...Good chart...Good info...
  12. My STI plastic grip is a little large around for my smaller hands. Either I have to shave it down some or replace with steel grip. Interested in hearing about both option and what 'size' results can I expect? Thanks...

    New accushadow

Thanks, Accu9 for the list. Do you have an approx. round count when these parts need replacing?

    New accushadow

Yes, I'd rather get them from THEM so I don't have to send it somewhere else, but if I have to, no problem. Are thin safeties legal in Production class? Also, are the VZ grip more aggressive? Reason I ask is that these are the 2 items I keep hearing about. Thin front sight is just something I have to see for myself. THANKS....

    New accushadow

Just ordered a new accushadow with silver colored grips from CZCustom. What other mods/etc. should I order from them to be USPSA production legal, besides extra mags?
  16. What e3 load are you using in your 9mm?
  17. Is the extended safety legal in USPSA Production Class ?
  18. Check the overtravel screw on the trigger, may be out of adjustment.
  19. Some of those parts may be coming from other companies that otherwise have solid reputations but they still are MIM parts, I replaced all the fire control system parts including the hammer with quality aftermarket parts. Also barrel link, pin and bushing and thumb safety. Also put in a short gun-craft trigger. Polish the feed ramp, put in a wolf 13lb recoil spring, and you are GTG.
  20. Just watch all the MIM parts on the new paras. Broke ambi-safety, barrel bushing and barrel link. Also as mentioned 3 finger spring is longer than 1911 and older para because they machined the slot too low. Brownells has mags.
  21. Decided to try some Claydot loads, currently running 3.7 gr E-3 in my 40 200gr blue bullets OAL 1.208 (168pf). What would be the equivalent load in Claydot ?
  22. Anyone have a good load for 9mm (5inch m&p pro) 147gr coated (blue bullets) with claydot or e-3? Looking for a PF of 125-130.
  23. Thanks Dave33, exactly the info I was looking for, now I will try Claydot. I also load e-3 in 45acp and except for the poor metering in my dillion650 it works well.
  24. Anyone loaded both claydot AND e-3 to compare felt recoil in 40 major? Looking to get as close to Clays as possible. E-3 seems pretty good but may try Claydot.
  25. First of all, your bench is way too clean! My main concern is the rigidity of the bench, weight/bolted to the floor/wall etc. Hard to tell from photo it might be a little too close to side wall. Try to do caliber changeover before you drill any holes and maybe simulate loading some rounds. I would also worry about some power spillage (its going to happen) getting into your laptop.
