  1. Jeff, the visor clip doesn't come loose when running?
  2. I see some shooters wearing these cameras during a match, some mounted on ear muffs, some on bill of hat. Seems the bill of hat would be more consistent view. What are the latest brands that you would recommend for the amateur USPSA shooter ? Thanks..
  3. 200 will work fine,230gr rn may give less recoil. Try clays or e-3. My 9mm load 147gr rn plated (xtreme) with 3.2/3.3 gr vitn320 shoots very soft and easily makes 130+PF..
  4. Anyone tried Bayou 45acp 230 gr. with clays or e3? What were your impressions?...........
  5. razorfish, thats exactly the feedback I was looking for on the arrendondo bar...Thanks....
  6. Looks like i am going with the uniquetek. Did anyone purchase the arrendondo bar?
  7. Sarge where did you order you uniquetek from?
  8. Thanks sarge. I have one of those big blue knobs on it. I will check on uniquetek. Thanks.......
  9. Can load powder say 3.9gr. one day, go back the next day and even after 6 or so dummy powder drops still may have to turn dial a little to get exact measurement. Does temp/humidity have something to do with it? Latest powder is Alliant e-3.
  10. Thanks for all the replies (I am 68)................
  11. Currently using Green, friend suggested try red, interested in hearing your experiences...Uspsa outdoors, mostly in full sunlite..
  12. Thanks to all who responded. Gun is back up and running great, .
  13. No stacking, just another cheap para part.
  14. Jeff, you are 1000% correct. When I took the gun apart the barrel bushing had a hairline crack in it. Just to be on the safe side a put a 13 wolf progressive and a new Wilson bushing to see how it fires tomorrow........ How often do you change your 11/12 lb spring (round count)? PS. I use xtreme 230gr plated bullets, no lead. THANKS to all......Joe
  15. Mike, it was a broken slide lock spring, actually looks like a torsion spring rather than a 'circle' wound spring. It comes as a slide lock assembly and S&W are sending me one under warranty. Thanks for your help......
  16. Thanks Mike, I suspected it might be a spring. Is there a diagram somewhere that shows a blow-up of it? Thanks again.
  17. M&P pro 9mm 2013 vintage, apex comp kit, kkm barrell. Apex kit mod has 5k rounds, kkm has 500 rounds. Shoots great. Cleaned gun, shot maybe 30 rounds and now the slide locks back on every round with multiple magazines and 2 people shooting it. Took apart nothing I could see wrong, EXCEPT the slide lock lever did not seem like it had a lot of tension on it, either up or down. Is there a spring or something broke/missing or what?????
  18. ParaGunner, what brand and how often do you change? Thanks....
  19. Thanks, its not a hesitation it was not even close to locking, At least a 1/16" + short of locking up. But I will try a 13 or 14. When I looked at the Wilson package that the 12lb. came in, it said to replace every 2k rounds mine probably had 3k.
  20. At least 6 feet, using 230gr xtreme pf165-170 uspsa.
  21. After my new para was broke-in (1k+ rounds), I replaced the stock recoil spring with a Wilson 12lb. Recoil was less and gun shot perfect for over 2k rounds. Last time I shot put 1 full mag 16-17 rounds shot great, reloaded and shot 3-5 times (don't remember) and gun failed to go into full battery. Dropped mag inserted new same problem. cleared gun put in another mag still failed to go into full battery. Stopped shooting cleared gun, worked slide (empty gun) looked down barrel could not see anything. Loaded gun shot over 100 rounds all OK. Ammo was all chambered check even shot some of offending ammo, no problem. Another shooter suggested that a 12lb. spring was a little on the weak side for a 2011 45acp. Any thoughts???i
  22. Has anyone chrono small pistol vs. large pistol primers in 45acp?? Any difference? I am using clays with fed primers.
  23. Tried the Ed Brown, too short for my p14-45 pro custom (2013 vintage w/ new 2014 frame). Never tried the Infinity.
  24. Primer not fully seated? Hard primers?
  25. My old para p14-45 (1995 vintage) takes a standard colt spring. As correctly stated the new para p14-45 pro custom takes a longer spring only made by para (cannot speak of brownells stuff). My new para had to sent back to factory because the slot was too low even with their spring. They fitted a new frame and still a 'colt' (supposely the standard) mainspring will still not fit, however a Clark split spring did fit barley and is working well after over 1k rounds. I have a para spring as a backup and may try to fit it in the future.
