Anyone getting “ cornmeal” residue left on your pistol with Major Pistol ? Apparently it’s unburned Powder adhering to all the oiled area ? Contacted manufacturing and they asked for my loading data....no response yet............

I have one of the new Tevo hard covers and the soft cover as well....The Tevo is hard and fits really well..as far as any padding factor..it's lacking ..but fits well.

Yep...all mags were re tuned to Adam's specs with my old Dawsons tuning kit..........

I have been running multiple MBX mags in my 9mm open pistol. Have 140 and 170's. As of late I have been experiencing a plague of mag problems. Essentially the rounds are dipping in the mag at various points and causing mag jams. All the mags in question were serviced with MBX folowers and springs and were tuned to the best of my ability. I had been running various STI mags for years. Constantly clean and inspect all my mags. Any thoughts on whats causing the feed problems out on the tube?? Secondly......any experiences with replacing the MBX guts with Grams parts?.......I'm assumiong I would use the appropriate 140/170 Grams STI parts set? Any guidence greatly appreciated. Is there a possibility that this is an extractor or ejector problem rather than magazines??......Thanks in advance!

Currently running an EGW U - die on my 650 for 9 Major. Is there any further advantage to trying the Mighty Armory recapping and sizing die as opposed to the EGW ? Attempting to maximize case processing as opposed to a roller- sizer.........Thanks!

I’m 65 and was shooting Limited. Tried several sets of reverse prescription lenses with correction on top. Worked pretty well....front fiber optic was crystal clear...distance another matter. As my near vision was getting worse with Father Times cruel effect, I made the horrible mistake of shooting a friends Atlas Open Pistol.Well....that was that!!! I switched to open and the optics have changed everything. No longer use any prescription glasses at all. Yea, getting accustomed to the red dot has been a task.....but a damn fun one. I considered Carry Optics....but Open is a whole new world....very interesting....to say the least. last advantage is I can use the same glasses for rifle optics as well. No more having to look below the prescription. Optics are the future of our sport!!!!......because the majority of shooters are aging rapidly. Just my opinions!!!! Thnaks.

Hope this is the right place for my question? Running an Alpha X holster with my open pistol. Added the pad as well. Is there any way to move the holster farther out from the belt ? I've tried adjusting the pistol with a cant away but does not seem comfortable. Im hoping to increase the distance for the inside of the grip to the holster for easier access.....any experiences? Hoping this makes sense!!!....Thanks.

Joe H. Been running 124 RMR RN and HP to essentially the same specs for a couple of years. 1.165 COL.....I’m wondering if it’s a mag body problem binding up at the top of the mags???....puzzled...was a very costly problem last Saturday!!

Anyone replace MBX guts with Grams springs and followers?.....Good, Bad.. no difference?......Do you tune your match mags. I have recently started having intermittent hand ups at the top of my mags ...both practice and match mags....there is no consistent factor I can figure out?? Thanks

So much for the replacement of the ball joint on the . mag pouch...tightened everything down as much as humanly possible...this time the actual pouch itself broke the grooves in insert.....pouch and magazine in the dirt....I love this Alpha X design but this is enough. Please suggest a viable replacement....this is my front primary .mag holder.....thanks.

lacivilian...Totally agree with everything you mentioned....unfortunatly all my screws are hex heads on my mounts....I'm now trying this blue Locktite type thread sealer on Amazon..it's a blue gel....seems to work well.....Red Locktite lesson learned....ooops !

Same problems as above DAA sent me some " new" style balls that attach to the mag holder itself....seems to be holding position so far. I think the slide in design of this ball is a weak point of design......hoping for the best. On a positive note...I have had discussions with the folks at DAA in Penn. and they are very professional and seem truly concerned about the products...sent me replacement parts at N/C ..I appreciate this kinda' stuff !

Received the Tevo Blast Shield last night and installed it.....went fine. This is a well constructed shield..very simple...testing this weekend. touji.....Thanks for the advice on the butane torch..perfect...screws came right out....of course I snapped the head off an Allen wrench reinstalling the mount...never fails !!! Will deal with this later once my screws fall out !!....Thanks again.
