FPF....whatever it’s worth...I purchased a used 650 from a friend at an amazing price. Same problem as you are having . called Dillon about alignment problems...received excellent advice and several replacement parts...to no avail. Sent it back for a rebuild ($79).....swore it was a whole new press when it was returned. 160K of 9 mm and .556 later it’s running like a champ. Absolutely the wisest money I ever spent. Maybe worth considering??

Just curious... anyone notice a substantial difference in the dot intensity with the shield on or off? Particulary in bright sun... Thanks

So after all this hoorang .....the original poster was not satisfied with his initial service. He was contacted by Atlas and returned the pistol for further evaluation. At this point , blame not relative, the problem was solved and owner shooting passers. Done and done....yikes.

As a matter of fact he did!!!......we discussed adjustments on my RF-100 and he sent me 2 of the plastic cups........

I’m glad your as satisfied as I am. nice folks running a cool small business......I think the holder for the Honda case gauge worked great for Major rounds....beat glueing sticks to the bottom...lol...

I’ve got several jugs....my response from the factory was there were several labeled Rifle....that’s it. Please keep us posted!!

Was having some problems with the primer disc skipping on my well used 650. Called Dillon....your 20 in que....oh well.......had a long conversation with the service tech about my problem and basically attributed it to wear and tear. I told him send me whatever I need to repair the primer system and what the charges were.......none....everything arrived yesterday and installed.....after over 200 K on my 650 I’m never ceased to be amazed at this company. And my tip was....clean out the primer tube with the cut off end of Q tip and the plastic primer rod to push it through.....don’t use a coat hanger......duh!!

Somewhat of an update on a previous post. I was looking for another hard cover for the 510C on my open pistol. Came across Rangepanda.....they offer printed covers for the optic with or without the sun shield. Arrived yesterday.....excellent quality. I also ordered some parts for my 650 and a tray holder for the Shokbottle 100 gauge. All excellent quality. Happy to pass along a small business that provides quality products at a fair price with good service. Check out the website....... No affiliation.....just passing my experience along.

Biggest damn bench you can accommodate !.....no one ever built a shed “ toooo big”. I used 2 sheets 3/4” Finished plywood glued and screwed underneath for the top. 3 coats of quality satin poly sanded between each coat. Hey, you’ll only do this once. Do not...repeat do not use any type of WATER BASED poly...it’s total crap. Base 4x4 bolted to 2x6 stringers.....plumb and level....find some way to attach bench to wall or wall studs. Pleanty of electric outlets and maximin quality lighting! best of luck.........

I had a reply from Lovex on the lot 514 of Major Pistol and was told there were several jugs mislabeled Rifle and that’s the story. I admit some relief considering the number of MP jugs in the basement!

Does anyone have solid information on the 514 lot of Major pistol?? I have multiple jugs....thanks!!

So I have Tevo blast shields on both my Atlas open guns running Holosun 510’s I had 2 shields both crack on the front on the same pistol....beyond weird. i contacted Tiger Nguyen that owns Tevo and discussed my problems with him....he sent me one replacement shield ...it also cracked at the bend.... After another conversation , he told me a new and improved version was in the works and to be patient and he would contact me as soon as they were available. Well the new shield arrived today...constructed of a much higher grade of stainless that the previous models. It was shipped next day at no charge ! I find it very refreshing in this day and age where a business owner really cares about customer satisfaction......Damn impressed. If you need a reference Tevo Sports is right behind Dillon on my list!!........Thanks

Chronographed rounds Saturday....55 degrees....9.8 grains MP at 1.175 124 PD HP....right at 172 power factor...I admit I was a bit surprised. Now I’m hoping the lower temperature is not a huge factor. Pistol was definitely cleaner........Damn. It’s always something. Im staying with his combination!!!!...my shooting partner has done rather extensive testing with various primers and he is sticking with magnum pistol....

Update on my unburied powder on Open pistol. I have had multiple , very informative, discussions with the folks that make Major pistol. I explained the unburied residue on my pistol.. He suggested my barrel was actually cut for a longer length load than I was making. He suggested increasing my COL from 1.165 to 1.175 to seat the round better. Chronoed some of the longer rounds yesterday and the residue on the gun is definitely reduced and made 172 PF....so I’m happy. Thanks to Shooters World for taking such a serious interest in my problem!!!

As a follow up to my original post. I sent 4 MBX problem mags back to them to take a look at..... They seemed genuinely concerned about my nose dives and flips.. They ran all the mags through several different Open pistols , and did not appear to find any malfunctioning. Replace followers with current style and mailed them back. I guess at this point I am refocusing on extractor, ejector .... Anyway.....thank you to all at MBX for great service in helping me with my ghost problems!!!!!! John

Whatever it’s worth......I’ve been in serious contact with the Product Development manager at Shooters World powder, Ken, in regards to the I burned powder residue I’m finding on my Chaos. He has been truly interested in trying to find the cause of this mess..... Great to see service like this today....will keep posted

In my original inquiry I am referring to totally encapsulated bullets....Atals Chaos.....the feeding problems are just intermittent enough to be a PITA.....eliminated magazines......moving on. Using PD 124 HP at present. Thanks.

Has anyone really noticed a substantial difference shooting these 2 bullet designs in Major 9 Open? Anyone have any particular loading/ feeding problems with one as opposed to the other design. Thinking about going back to RN 124........ Thanks in advance.

Shooters World Major Pistol.....Open...exact same problem with “ oatmeal “. PF 172....124 DP HP. i sent this formula to the manufacturer and have had no response...... It’s just a hassle for me , but would be interested in eliminating it completely!!
