Have a relatively well used 9 mm STI Trubor. Started having intermittent light primer strikes as of late. shootng same minor load as I’ve run through my limited pistol...... shot thousands of the same load...CCI small pistol, BB 147,N320.....any thoughts.......oversize firing pin ?....treating symptoms not problem?? ....... Thanks.

I am suffering from the Old eye syndrome as well. Purchased a used STI Trubor to experiment with Open shooting. 9mm ....trying minor loads to get used to the whole red dot concept and use some of my current reloading supplies before trying Major loads. After 3-400rounds through it......I’ve found this thing is a BLAST!!!!.....learning the new Leupold red dot , racker ,comp ..etc...not the finest quality pistol by any means but certainly does the job.......and no more corrective lenses in the Rudy shooter my glasses.....excellent.

I was reading this thread shaking my head....same thing happened to me last week. Used blue Locktite and pre heated the screws..still stripped one screw. So here are my questions. Is it the screws, the tool or the locking compound??? I use quality torque and Allen wrenches, I just got a new assortment of screws from Shooters Connection and use fresh blue Locktite. What is the weak like here......removing this screw was a PITA and want to avoid it again as all the screws need to be ground down to fit the frame! Glad I’m not the only one with this problem.....Thanks!

Forgot to ask.......are any of you all using a Shock Buffer in these Trubor minor rounds ?.......running them in my Atlas Titan in 9mm and seems to work well............thanks....

Tommy....huge stock of both.....used for Limited Minor. Will try to use some up, then experiment with 9mm Major and try to sell some off. Im cheap.....apparently an oxymoron for Open class.....lol. So no one has experience with 6 lb. or 7lb. Variable springs in minor?? Thanks

Starting out my learning 9mm Trubor. Attempting to use up some of my supply of N320and Blue Bullet 147RM by starting off with minor....any experiences with recoil springs for these lighter loads. Suggested we’re 6/7 lb. variable springs....any thoughts?? Thanks....this will be and interesting experience.

Thoughts on different primers for 9mm Major loads??...been seeing folks using magnum pistol primers and different types of Federal primers. Im starting to work on my 9mm major load ladder and sincerely hoping my CCI Small Pistol primers will suffice...got a ton of ‘em. Thanks for any input..........Merry Christmas to all!!!!!

Trying not to beat the poor horse to death: As to the Atlas Chaos in 9mm.....I’m currently loading for my Titan.....I’ve got a very large stock of Blue Bullets 147rn and Vih N320....Would certainly like to work up a load to use in the Chaos to use these supplies up.....currently using 3.3 grns N320 for minor in the Titan.....any thoughts on maximum load using these 2 components in the open gun?...maybe up to 3.5 grns? Not trying to make Major , just functioning rounds to learn the new pistol......Thanks in advance!!!
