  1. Small pistol primers are currently in stock at Natchez.
  2. Damn, I’d probably drive up to 10 hrs to get that price if they had as much as I wanted…
  3. Did they say why they changed their profile? There must be a reason.
  4. Not at all, but it’s a much more solid mount to attach the sight directly to the slide instead of having a plate mounted to the slide, and then the sight mounted to the plate. 2 more screws to break, everything is thinner with less screw threads holding them in place.
  5. I dug out the package, It’s made by SDM Fabricating. It’s called “semi-adjustable” but I don’t know about that, maybe if you didn’t screw it down all the way you can get some height elevation. I loved it when I shot a lot of revo, but I am probably going to replace it with an Allchin sro mount.
  6. Lol, good one Sarge. Current pricing for CCI SPP from Natchez is $491 for 5,000 delivered. Hopefully, the next time I buy primers they will be at least a bit more reasonable…
  7. I actually put a fixed rear sight on mine. I forget who makes it but I’m pretty sure it came from Brownells over 10 years ago. It works awesome.
  8. Thanks. Do you really need them often? This is the first one I’ve broken in 25 years.
  9. Been there, done that. But only because I self reported. I had accidentally grabbed the 2nd to last mag on my belt at make ready instead of the last mag which I normally keep 11 rounds in. Imagine my surprise when the slide locked back at shot #10. At least I got to load my mags to full capacity for the last 2 stages…
  10. Did Blue say why they changed their profile? Seems like that’s a big decision to make, there must be a reason. And, if your having issues, then you would think a lot of others using the Dillon seating die would also start having similar problems.
  11. That looks odd, are the new bullets softer than the old style? You must be using the round nose side of the seating die right?
  12. 9mm 124gr JHP currently in stock.
  13. Sounds like going to a 2 pass method of reloading is what you need. Then you can decap and resize in the first pass without the primer assembly or powder measure on the press. If you lube your brass you may be able to lower the torque setting, or maybe not, 40 can be tough to resize. Then, when loading on the 2nd pass you should definitely be able to lower the torque way down as the brass will already be sized and you should be able to cruise along smoothly.
  14. Waiting for your review. I have a few of the electronic brands mentioned, and they are all adequate outside, but now we go indoors for the winter and they are all inadequate for that. I think I’ll end up with a Combo of some sort, but not sure which.
  15. Wait a minute, the LabRadar unit has Bluetooth? When did that happen? I thought I looked into that just over a year ago when I bought my ProChrono.
  16. If you’re sweating the variance in OAL, just wait until you check the powder charge weight on every 10th round or so for a batch…
  17. So I just went back and checked my notes. From the last batch of 9mm 124gr JHP ammo, I measured 123 rounds. They ranged from 1.070 to 1.085 with the median at 1.079 so that’s what I label them. This week I loaded up 1200 precision 9mm 125gr RN. I measured 55 of them and they ranged from 1.052 to 1.058 with a median at 1.055 so that’s what I labeled them. All of the above is with mixed range pickup brass.
  18. I can’t remember what my OAL variance was the last time I loaded 40. But over the last 10 plus years loading 9mm I get a +/- 0.005. I use mixed range brass and accept that OAL variance can be as much as 0.01. It makes no difference at all. It was like that on my 550 and it’s the same on my 1100. Usually, I’ll just measure about 50-75 in the first batch of 500 I load and take the median of that as my OAL.
  19. Well, hopefully some of you got some.
  20. I can’t say I shoot better with friends, but I definitely have more fun, and prefer it. There are some friends I only see at the shoots, and I look forward to seeing and shooting with them more than the actual shoot itself.
  21. If you think they’re hard to find now, how do you think it will be on Black Friday??? If I needed another one, I’d buy it while I could.
  22. Montana Gold 9mm 124gr JHP is in stock at the moment. https://montanagoldbullet.com/9mm-124gr-jhp-3-750ct-case/

    G48 MOS in CO?

Would those mags with extensions be within the 141mm max mag length for CO?
  24. You guys are starting to make me rethink my decision to not want another MOS version. Especially Boudreux. I got a mounting plate to put a FF3 on my revo, and then immediately changed my mind in favor of a Holosight. Luckily I don't plan to buy another gun for a while so it's not something I need to decide right away.
