  1. Yeah, you have to stay on top of this stuff, it pops in/out of stock rather quickly. I did find it in stock about an hour ago at Speed Shooter International and placed an order. Thanks, Cuz
  2. Look closer, not in stock, estimated ship time is 1-3 months.
  3. Anyone know who has the 510c riser in stock? Can't find one anywhere.
  4. Bumping this for any updates. I’d like to send out my P365 slide to get it milled for a Holosun 407k. Thanks.

I think the results are still being tabulated.
  6. I think I’ve covered it at least once in one of these “MOS” threads. I think the screws are too thin and they break too easily. I like the concept of the threaded posts. It should make for a more secure mount, but it doesn’t work out that way for me. In addition to the spare one, I currently have one on my G41 with a Holosun 507C mounted to it. I rarely shoot the gun, so I hope it will last, but I don’t have any confidence in it. But, just to show you how little I know, I did trust the Glock MOS plate over the C&H for my SRO, and that’s the one that sheared off on me. So now I’ll try the FCD plate. If that doesn’t work I’ll buy a non-MOS slide and send it off to be milled for RMR. But I’m hoping I don’t have to do that. I’d much rather spend the money on primers…
  7. I totally understand. I had a 507c on my Brownells slide that was milled for RMR before I got an SRO and it fit fine. I don’t know why they say it, but they do. I can tell you that when the plate comes in I will try mounting my 507c on it just to check before putting the SRO on it. I’m curious, and think it may have something to do with the length of the mounting screws. But that’s just a guess.
  8. I’m glad it works for you. I have one “like new” in my pile of spare crap that I doubt I’ll ever use. The concept is interesting for sure, but it’s not for me. I’ll give the FCD plate a try and see if I like that one better. I hope so, these parts start to add up after a while $$$.
  9. True, but FCD goes out of their way to say they don’t guarantee their plate will work with a Holosun sight.
  10. Thanks, I found the FCD plate in stock at Primary Arms and ordered it. I should have it ready to go by the time I get the slide back from Glock.
  11. Just wondering how many Mfgs make an MOS plate for a Trijicon SRO? Im looking for alternatives to the C&H plate. Forward Controls Design makes one. Anyone else? Thanks.
  12. Absolutely! I learn a lot from reading the many responses to questions other people ask. It’s the ops loss if he/she doesn’t follow up after asking a question. There will still be a lot of others that will learn from the answers provided.
  13. https://www.bigtexordnance.com/product/high-quality-torx-screws-for-glock-mos-plates-set-of-2/
  14. Yes, went over that in detail with Glock support. The tech said I could consider getting better quality screws then the ones provided by Glock. He said they were rated at around 100,000 psi tensile strength and should be fine under most circumstances, but he said McMaster sold some that were rated at 140,000 psi. I tried to look them up, I wasn’t sure I found the right ones, and did want to pay $7 each for them. then, I found them for $2 at Big Tex Ordnance. I never heard of them before, but took a chance since it was just a few bucks.
  15. I like the folding stock on mine for easier portability and storage in the safe. I don’t shoot it much and am not experienced enough with precision rifle shooting to know if it helps or hurts my ability. I would not have bought it if it didn’t have the folding stock option.
  16. Lol, I have one Gen4 G17 MOS with a Holosun sight that has never failed me. Probably because I never shoot it. That's one way to make them last forever.
  17. Argh! Sheared the plate of my slide today. Probably only has around 6-7k rounds through it. I think if I could find a Gen5 slide milled for RMR in stock I'd buy it. At least my backup is a Gen3 with Brownells milled slide. The dot isn't going anywhere on that one...
  18. Sorry to hear you all are having such problems. I went the RL1100 route, and don’t regret it, but that doesn’t mean it was trouble free. Maybe we are all of the wrong frame of mind to think that after spending so much for the press it should work flawlessly. Does anyone on this forum know anybody that bought a Mark 7, or RL1050/1100 and took it out of the box and had it run perfectly? It seems we all go through the “dialing in” or troubleshooting period where we tweak, adjust, or even replace/upgrade some parts before the press is up and running. And even then, when it’s working, as soon as someone mentions a new doohickey we immediately start considering whether or not to add it to our press. Mine is finally running fine (manually), but I seem to want to replace my shell plate with an aftermarket and I don’t even know why. It never ends. Hopefully, you guys will get things worked out and Lyman/Mark 7 support will be responsive and helpful. I’m watching this thread because I’m sure there will be a Mark 7 press in my future, just not sure when.
  19. It’s been a while since Tapatalk went away, and that’s not really an issue. What is an inconvenience is that the current forum software doesn’t seem very friendly to use on mobile devices. is it possible to consider an alternative? Another forum I frequent seems to work really well on mobile devices. Could we possibly see what they use and consider a switch? I’d be happy to donate to help make it happen. Here is the site if others want to verify whether it works for them on their mobile devices before a switch may be considered: https://www.northeastshooters.com/xen/
  20. It’s the same for me using Firefox on an iPhone. I miss Tapatalk.
  21. Definitely plated, not even a legitimate discussion. No reason to choose coated over plated other than cost or availability.
  22. I didn’t think they got the fee, I always thought it went to the shipper, FedEx or UPS.
  23. I think the good news takeaway is that they are finally showing up. Yeah the are expensive, but I think they will soon come down a bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if the new normal has them running about $60/1,000 for the next year or 2.
