I stainless tumble the Speer 9mm +P nickel brass. Looks great. I use just a bit less lemishine compared to standard brass (1/2 amount). Same amount of Dawn. I also tumble just a bit shorter timewise too.

Anyone routinely use a coupler instead of a custom 20+ shell mag for their magfed shotgun? I grabbed a couple Buffer Tech Magcinchs for my VEPR12 to couple 2 factory 10-rounders together. They are solid! A bit slower than a full-extended round mag, but gives an option for transitioning types of rounds quickly and still retaining?

Where did you get your 20 round mags from or did you build them yourself?

Doing some research online about the HSG Taco, it looks to be the HCM model. I haven't gotten any 12 round SGM mags as the reviews don't look favorable, but it would be nice to put 2 together.

Have a VEPR 12 on the way and curious about magazine carry options for the 8/10 rounders. Kydex mag pouch? Belt "clip" that is attached onto the mag? Vest? HSG Tacos? Watching some of those ironman vids is intimidating!

Picked up the 2+1 TACO. Excellent pouch! Fits my 308 and 223 AR mags + 1 pistol slot. Perfect for both Ltd and Heavy Metal! Thanks everyone for the recs!

So for HM, I have to shoot .45 or larger. I already have my 2011 .40 for ltd, and my 9mm 2011 for 3 gun. I am planning to use a 1911 SS for HM since that is what I have and I can use 10rnd CMC mags in it. Just curious if anyone has used a 2011 45 to get the 4 extra rounds. Thx for the input. The feed issue would be a no-go for me.

I'm running a Para Pro Comp .40. DAA belt and racer mag holsters. Wilson Combat 47nx (10mm) mags with WC extended floorplates shaved down to fit in the box. Bladetech DOH holster. Techwell magwell.

What are you 3-gun heavy metal shooters shooting? 1911 or 2011 .45? Preference of one over the other?

Picked up a customized Norinco 1911 - going to see how accurate it is and try it for 3-gun Heavy Metal. All internals were swapped out to Ed Brown, 10-8, C&S. Kart barrel. Slide and frame markings other than s/n were machined off and it was re-cerakoted.

I have a Bladetech Ice for my Edge. Maybe not the strongest of retention holsters, but I can hold it upside down and it doesn't come out even with some good shaking. FWIW.

Watching the classifieds forum, why is there such a recent influx of Stock 2's? Seems unusually high - is there something causing this? I don't shoot production, but am thinking about it just to jump on one of the many Stock 2's for sale! Seems like the same with Stock 3's, though not as high in number. No longer unicorns?

I wonder if Keanu will start showing up at matches?
