  1. Are they marked SNL? (Sometimes Not Legal)
  2. Great game indeed. I don't know if Clemson's D just got sloppy at the end or ran out of steam, but those couple big plays just knocked the wind out of them. Watson still looked really solid and composed until the end. Just can't make any mistakes against Alabama. And it looked as if Alabama was out there to make up for the OSU lost last year.
  3. Depends. You still have to pick up each bullet and orientate nose up over a hole. One would be over a case the other would be over a tube. So if you counted the time it took you to load the tubes, it's not going to speed things up as much as you think. The speed advantage with case and bullet feeders comes from the collators. Hmm, that is a good point. Either put the bullets down the tube or put the bullets onto the case... I guess it is not an overall decrease in time, it is a perceived decrease in time since the bullet tubes can be loaded when you are not reloading the cartridges, just like pre-loading primer tubes.
  4. I have a large Thumbler Vibratory cleaner. You say you tumble wet with pins. Do you have a drain in the tub? I think this might be a possibility. I really don't like the dust. I think it would be good to eliminate it. I pour off most of the liquid, then dump the brass and pins into a RCBS media separator. After a bunch of cranks, the stainless pins and lots of water fall out and the brass stays in the cage. I pour off the liquid from the pins, rinse several times, then pour the damp pins back into the tumbler. With the lid off, my pins are dry after a couple days here. I then take the top off the cage, put the lower half with the brass in a big water filled tub and rinse multiple times. I then run the brass through the media separator again to get most of the water off. I then lay the brass out over a large bath towel. By the following day, they are all dry, clean, and shiny.
  5. I am loading PD 124gr JHP and Zero 125gr JHP's for 9mm Major.
  6. I'm sure several of you will be watching the game tomorrow. Can Clemson pull it off?
  7. Should anyone be visiting Albuquerque, there is a great BB tour run by the Candy Lady. I highly recommend it, even as a local. I met the owner of "Walter White's" house on the tour - she is a pretty cool person. Lunch at the Twisters that is "Los Pollos Hermanos" in South Valley, etc, etc.
  8. Anyone use the Hornady LNL Bullet feeder tubes with the bullet feeding die? I don't need the full-automated bullet feeder, but thought one of these would speed up things a bit without much cost. http://www.hornady.com/store/Lock-N-Load-9mm-Bullet-Tube/

Congrats! You're probably shaving off your stage times as well!
  10. Agreed that college is more exciting than the NFL, IMO. My Buckeyes did well against ND...makes me wonder what would have happened had they had a rematch with Alabama. MSU looked horrible!
  11. I just caught this one on cable as well. Good movie and action sequences!
  12. I agree, good movie, not great. Good dogfighting scenes and special effects. I think Daisy Ridley did a pretty good job acting as did the guy who played "Poe". Carrie Fisher looks rough!
  13. This. I put a SWFA SS 10x on a .308 and .223 AR build that I don't shoot beyond 400 yards so far, target only. Very clear glass and you learn to range with the mildots on the reticle.
  14. Good luck with quitting the smoking - you'll save alot of money with long-term medical costs too (COPD is a pricey one...and it adds to your health insurance)! I've purchased all my USPSA pistols used so far from here! (SS, Ltd, Open). I'm sure I've saved a bunch on those to purchase all the other things - rigs, reloading supplies, etc. They have all run great!
  15. I wear 34" pants and use 36" DAA belts, both Pro and Competition belts. Perfect amount of overlap for me. (have 4 rigs: Single-stack with room for 7x DAA SS mag holders, Ltd, Open, and 3-gun with room for 3 Invictus 2.8's, double pistol mag pouch, AR mag pouch, and holster)
  16. Yes! The more interesting question is, which side if you are a RH shooter? Min is on the left side of the gun looking down the sights (left hand, left sided racker), though others would say right side. Using a DAA Racer holster so plenty of clearance.
  17. Realtime bullet seater die that seats to preset COAL regardless of individual case size. Sure if I trimmed all my brass it would be a non-issue, but I don't trim pistol brass.
  18. I use ASC mags. Have had no problems so far. 25 rounders.
  19. I wet tumble with a Thumblers. Deprime my 5.56 brass, don't deprime pistol brass. It's pretty after a few hours with stainless pins, dawn, and lemishine. Living in Albuquerque, completely dry overnight, no baking required!
  20. I'd agree with having no carpeting in the area. Don't want to lose some primers and vacuum. You are also undoubtedly going to drop some powder, whatever else. It just gets a bit messy. I try to reload cleanly in a room with a cement floor and I'm constantly surprised by how little bits of stuff ends up on the floor.
  21. Ordered twice from overseas. Always fast with excellent service.
  22. Dawson no gap in mine. I run wilson 47nx mags for my para procomp 40 with extended basepads that are shaved to fit in the box.
