Here is a pic of my hat-mounted setup. Bought a tripod adapter for the gopro, a 1/2" long 1/4-20 button cap screw, used a standard washer and locking washer, and drilled a hole in a cheap cap I bought off ebay. Will try filming with it at my next match. Total cost: Hat $4, Screw (pack of 3 for $1.25 at Lowes), washers I had laying around. Less than $5!

Personal preference. For some of my AR's, I have a Kley-Zion receiver end plate with the QD holes and a Magpul ACS-L stock that has the corresponding hole - works for 2 point like above. I've also used the Magpul MS3 sling to single-point mount to the end plate. I like how easy it is to pull the MS3 "strap" to tighten and loosen.

Can't say for others, but all my Streamlights come with other adapters for different rails. The Glock adapter fits my picatinny rails on my AR15's. My HK USP's, however, have proprietary rails and I use a GG&G adapter to put lights on it. Kind of painful.

I got my GoPro clip and on the earmuffs the perspective is indeed a bit too high. I bought some GoPro tripod mounts and some blank hats off of eBay. Slightly lower profile mount than the one you have tt350z. Once I get the hole drilled and attachment screw, I'll post some pics.

I've pondered putting on TTI 7mm or Grams 7mm basepads to bring them to 140mm length. I guess these mags are useful for those who have mag bans in their states as well.

I prefer to pay by USPS Money Order or Bank Cashier's Check for firearms. Paypal is easier for smaller items (accessories, etc.) but I won't use it for firearms. You have to be careful with paypal - they are not firearms friendly so you can't have any mention of firearms or they will lock the accounts.

Are these the older 'preban' tubes? Any benefit compared to standard 140mm tubes?

I plan to clip it to the top of my earmuffs so it sits on the top of my head as opposed to the cap. I don't know how stable it will be, but it looks like its worth the shot. I didn't want a high pov on top of ear muffs so I didn't go that route. Here's what my setup looks like. Did you think it was too high from there? Or would you lose the view because of high barriers? I would love to mount it to my right muff (kind of like a contour style camera) since I am a RH shooter, but the mount options for gopro there are pretty poor too. Maybe use the clip with an angle adapter or something.

Makes me want to shoot limited or open instead. I carry 7 mags on my belt for single-stack and when there is steel, esp with a texas star, I get a bit nervous

Hmm, I need to think about the leg rig. Using a 36" belt doesn't give me alot of real estate. Does it seem secure enough when you're shooting from non-standing positions (ie prone?)

Hmm, looks like this might be the earmuff mount: Quick Clip for GoPro. Ordered and will update after trying it.

We have a GoPro Hero 3 White for skiing and other true helmet mounted sports, but for mounting on the bill of a ballcap, it looks like it would be very front heavy. I'd like to mount it to my earmuffs, but it looks like I'd have to rig something up. Alternatively, I thought about buying a Drift Stealth 2, Tachyon or other small cam for this purpose that I can mount to my earmuffs. Anyone have earmuff mounted camera and which did you use with which mount?

I'm looking for a mag pouch for my 3-gun Heavy Metal belt. I know Blade-tech makes one for around $50, and I found the Safariland 774 for around $25. Any other options that I'm missing? Ideally would like a dual-pouch like my Bladetech AR15 one, but haven't found anything yet. I also use the Pmag 7.62 mags if that makes any difference. Thanks!

I have Pelican cases for my Ltd and Open gun. The pluck foam is nice - I got a can of 3M spray adhesive to "glue" pieces back into place to make them fit the guns better (ie, a bit more elevation in the trigger area relative to the flared mag well, etc.)

FWIW, I am shooting .40 major. I run Wilson 47NX mags with extended pads that are shaved down to fit in the box. TW gap magwell. I am currently running factory ammo in my .40 (haven't developed loads yet as I am focusing on my 9mm major loads for the open gun first).

If I forget to take it out shortly after tumbling and leave it overnight, I run it for 30 minutes the following day before draining/rinsing to re-suspend the particles. Always look minty fresh that way.
