  1. Hey, I spy your ARF BFL!!!!
  2. How much did that non ported barrel cost you? Did you get it direct from SA?
  3. I took out one of my 1911's that I havent shot in a long time, stainless SA V16 longslide in 45 super. I put the spring for 45acp in it. Since its factory ported, i think my competition options for it are hindered. What would you do with it?
  4. Nice! What is your tylical production time?
  5. Living in ABQ, it is a must watch. Pretty good for sure but not quite like BB yet. I use the carwash in BB, been to Walters house and met the owner, eaten at the Los Pollos Hermanos, etc. If anyone comes into town, let me know, there is a great tour from The Candy Lady who makes the" blue meth"
  6. Season 1 was much better than 2 and I started trailing off. Didnt watch this season yet...
  7. Anyonw know if the Brazos custom Ltd can cycle 40 minor or factory 40? I have an email into Bob, but curious about others' experiences. Thanks.
  8. Steel gong at Zia range 200 yards with my HK USP40f. Stock meprolight night sights and fiocchi factory ammo. 2 hits out of 10 shots. I think it is 5'x5', but could be wrong. Guy with s&w m&p and I were fooling around. Now, if you count ar or ak "pistols", that is a different story. Amazing what a 7.5" AR pistol ot Yugo M92 can hit with even iron sights.
  9. So doing some online searching, it turns out Butch's opened a retail store here in Albuquerque this past December! Stopped by the store and scored a key of WAC! They had another 8x1lb'ers so I left those for anyone else looking to buy here. Apparently their in-store does not match their online site and they save this specifically for the local buyers. They had VV N350, N150, some True Blue. No HS-6. Lots of other powders for non-9mm major. I'm more than happy with the WAC - it was like a sign to go ahead and buy that 9mm major pistol!
  10. I use an inline fab mount and roller handle as well, both are great. I got plenty of extra bushings for my other dies so I just drop and change. I also got the micrometer for both pistol and rifle and have a separate powder measure for each. There is a guy on ar15.com who has nice plans for die holders: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_42/396115_Hornady_LNL_AP_Die_Holder_Stand_Plans.html
  11. Having problems finding stuff for 9mm major in Albuquerque too. Makes me wonder if I should get into open with a .38s instead just for powder availability purposes!
  12. Steve's techniques are great. I used to shoot bowling pins with him at the local club in CBus back in the early 2000's before he started getting into steel and eventually open. Great guy and had great tips back then!
  13. Just joined the USPSA and if I can get myself an open gun and practice enough with it before then, I am in! (looking for something used in case I end up switching divisions).
  14. I won't be able to make it this Sat, but I'll try to make the next one!
  15. Greetings from Albuquerque, NM. Interested in getting into USPSA after shooting IDPA, some action pistol, sporting clays, etc. Hope to meet other local shooters (and finally get an open gun, now that I've started reloading!) -Edward
