I run 177 and my daughter runs 179, both guns are all over the place at 171-175.

Might be by chance but I cracked a STI slide with less than 1k thru it running 4756 at 175-177, now I have a caspian slide and run 3n38 at same PF, also I was running a 8lb spring

UPS once left my 5 k open gun (which was Spose to require a sig) on my steps all day in the rain, I was not impressed.

I have a center of mass kydex I use for my steel master in open 3 gun and it works great.

I use 4756 with 124's, 8.2 gr gets me at 172 PF, Probably 7.4 whould be a good place to start with 130's.

I learned my lesson when my 14 year old daughter shot a what I assume to be a double charge in her sti edge .40. Gun blew up in her hand, blew the mag out and peppered her with brass, luckily no real harm to her thank god or any damage to the gun, but it really opened my eyes to the possibilities of what could happen!

I appreciate all your comments and will put these drills to good use and hopefully get her hits under control, I think some of it might be match jitters cause she does perform much better at practice so we will have to work on that also.

Thanks sarge I appreciate the input, it was a little more of a what drills to use and how to determine where her speed should be at, what is a acceptable time vs hit kinda thing, guess I didn't word it right.

My daughter is just turned 15 and is fast as heck, a little to fast. She has the capabilities to shoot with the best of them she just needs to get her hits, first shot is usually alpha and the second is no telling. She just shot the ipsc nats and placed 8th in ladies, all her team mates (she shots for limcat) say she has the talent to win she just needs to get under control and get her hits. Now for the hard part, we bolth started shooting the same time, last year and she passed my ability to help her, since she is already past my skill level I have no advice to give her to help improve. To make things worse we live in a rural area so there is nobody around this area to help. If anybody has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

I use one big stick and three 140's, tried two big sticks but didn't like the way a big stick felt on my belt while I was moving, if you need more than 50 rounds to complete a course of fire you have bigger probs than mags, also none of my mags are tuned, just grams guys and I've never had a prob.

I was having probs with my gun kinda like you explained, would run great one day terrible the next. I replaced every spring in the gun tried every different load imanigable and still couldn't get it straightened out, by the way my problems were ejection issues with a aftec. I called Derek at millenium customs and he had my gun running over the phone in 10 minutes great guy really knows his stuff, I would recommend reaching out to him.

I want a 90 mount but my gun has 5 popple holes in the barrel and I'm worried about damaging my sight, to be back far enuf the lense would have to be above the trigger. Any suggestions?

Tried the two 357's but didn't think they lasted very long, my local grocery store Carys the energizer wich is what I use.
