I have used Mobil 20 – 50 synthetic for several years now, one qt. will last a long time.

I just had one done at freedom gun works. $10 a Hole .Pull the slide off and just ship the lower, then no need to overnight. That's if you can't find a smith locally.

I really like the comminilli guide rod. That's what came in my millennium custom. You can purchase them from brownells , around $35. i think it's a great set up with cushions on both sides.
