  1. Have heard 4756 is a close comparison to 7625 anybody have any idea if this is true?
  2. Think I've heard of a lot of people using this for open guns, slower powder real blasty from what I hear, haven't heard of anybody using it for lim major.
  3. Ben I'm well aware of the rules but thanks for the quote, but the RO IS in charge of the course of fire, all calls are his to make that was the point I was making, I'm not gonna get in a argument over who is right and who is wrong, I have been a RO for awhile and have let a few things slide, if your a RO and say you haven't with a new shooter I call BS, on that same note I have DQ'd a shooter on his first course of fire, it's always up to the RO.
  4. In this situation it was completely up to the RO, the shooter had unloaded and showed clear but dropped the gun during reholster, obviously the gun was in a safe condition so it would be completely up to the RO. On a side note my daughter was in a junior shoot off at a large area championship when a junior shooter dropped his gun in front of a crowd of several hundred people, the MD was running the event and let it go, kid even picked up his own gun.
  5. Went out and put a 100 rds through it tonight with the modified choke, seemed to run the shot a little better, only put a few slugs through it but performed ok out to 50yds on a 10'' inch plate, will try some different slugs to see how they run out to 100yds later this week.
  6. I have one in 38 SC and it works well, kinda a pain in the ass messing with springs but it does help recoil.
  7. I bought my daughter a new Benelli M2 for 3 gun this year, we have only shot it with the IC choke in it which gives it a very large pattern at 25' or so and slugs are 1 1/2 feet high at 100 yards, I am very inexperienced with chokes and the right ones to use, any help would be greatly appreciated. A few side notes, 21'' barrel, full power slugs and 1 1/2 oz and 71/2 shot.
  8. Sounds like there is a prob with one of the stations on the shell plate not the press, give your plate a good inspection around the case groves on the shell plate bet that is where your problem is.
  9. I shoot a Akai SC, like it more than 9 for the fact you have more room for powder, more powder = more gas which means flatter gun, draw back is brass.
  10. I shoot the 115 extremes at 1550 with no issues.
  11. I use take aim targets, great product and customer service.
  12. Can you run a case and bullet feeder on a 550B?
  13. Where? Out of stock at ROZE and SC.If you would like to try extreme in 115 jhp or hpcb I will send ya a few outa my stash I have plenty.
  14. Thanks Doug! Might look into it a little more. Maybe I can get a handful from somebody??If you want to try a few let me know and I will get you some, have jhp and hpcb.
  15. I shoot a LWRC REPR that is very accurate, sub MOA, also having good results at a thousand.
  16. Don't think you will be disappointed, I use their 115's at 178 PF, have shot a few into a bucket of water to inspect for damage with none obvious.
  17. I load and load and load, since I started shooting everybody in my family, my wife and daughter have decided that the shooting sports is for them also so they actually shoot more than I do since I work weekends twice a month. My daughter has really picked it up and ran with it she is a sponsored Limcat, STI, extreme bullets and take aim targets shooter, she shoots all the larger matches, A1,A2, uspsa nats, ipsic nats and so on so I kinda live vicariously through her. Just a thought, see if your family wants to be involved, my daughters only shot a year and loves it, she is only 15 and has decided to make this her future even wants to be a gunsmith and build custom guns. I know I get a much greater pleasure watching them progress than myself.
  18. Not real knowledgable with the glocks but with the 1911-2011 plat form the first thing I'd try is a lighter recoil spring to keep the slide from going into battery as hard.
  19. Sell it as new and get what you can.
  20. I am a extreme bullet believer, they have a great product and the friendliest customer service. If you decide to try them you will not be disappointed, that being said I have not used their .223 projectiles but use their 115 gr at a velocity of 1545 and their accuracy is excellent.
  21. I had this prob and I tried putting a little more bend in the rod and then cleaned everything and I had the same issue as you, only worked sporadically and as it turns out the extra bend I put in the rod was causing the primer slide to get in a little bind and not moving all the way to the rear.
  22. I use the cylinder and slide kits and have been very happy with them.
