if you eliminate enough pre travel, it can't go forward enough to go into da mode.

heads up though, the $9 trigger doesn't have a pre travel adjustment, only over travel.
  6. the comp on my CZ is held on with the guide rod and I don't use loctite. I haven't seem any issues.
  7. thinking back to install, it wasn't a direct drop in fit. the very bottom of the sight, facing the shooter, was a tad long. It would just barely kiss the slide when closed. 30 seconds with a file and Sharpie cleared it all up though.
  8. yes, got them straight from Dawson. I'm not sure which CZC sight would be correct. I measured my stock sight and got the closest to what I'd need. iirc, the stock height was to .210
  9. the front sight for a p09 is a drop in fit for the czechmate. I used the .205 height for mine.
  10. why are you concerned with carbon fiber?
  11. I use a +7 so if need be, I can quad load right from the start.
  12. Any way you could post a picture of that? I cant get mine on the belt without putting it at a 45° angle. I keep my QLS receiver plate on a tek-lok attached to my ELS belt.. Holes line right up, and I like to be able to slide my holster slightly forward or back if needed. how do you meet the 2" rule without seriously canting the holster inward?
  13. there's 2 threads on this already.
  14. CZ pads are being made as we speak. *fingers crossed hoping it's for the Tac Sport/Czechmate line*

the front sight is the same as a p09. I have pictures of mine in the tac sport showoff thread. I did the same as you are wanting, running it in 3 gun. also, I didn't bother with mag springs and followers. stock springs and followers got me to 23 reloadable
  16. TTI all the way. I dropped a full Arredondo and the extension shot off and scattered bullets everywhere. Tried TF pads and they are good after making sure the follower can actually go inside the extension. A little filing made it work. TTI worked from the beginning and didnt need any modifying. If they start making them for CZs, I'd never buy anything else.
  17. I had the same problem. The screw holes were too far to the rear for the screws to start. I filed the grips on the inside where it hits the frame until they fit correctly. Can't even tell with them installed.
  18. I noticed it is harder to both engage and dis engage the safety. If you dont have a spring like that in your 75, you might want to get one. Its item 31 in this diagram. There is not one on the right side though http://02b665f.netsolstores.com/images/products/detail/CZ75Diagram.jpg
  19. that's the video I'm talking about. that kid is awesome.
  20. From what I have read on here, the follower is not designed to lock the slide back.
  21. If you havent already seen the video of the DVC that STI put on their facebook page, the gun and more importantly, the shooter, are impressive.
  22. One thing I learned is that if you are using tec locks, use velcro on the back of the tec locks. If you have a few tec locks close together, there will be a good 1/4 or more area of outer belt that isnt secured at all to the inner belt.
