  1. Sight tracker is a cool feature, but its just that...a cool feature. I would really challenge you to tell or feel the difference. Its chrome rims and chilled cup holders, not another 20 hp under the hood. Get it if you dig it, but you can't go wrong either way.
  2. We've had multiple specimen's of both come through at work. The Aperio's are better guns. The Schumann barrel is actually worth the added price over an Edge (yet still a little less than the DVC). Never mind the island feature, its a much better barrel. IMO the DVC is an Edge with cheaply applied lip stick. I expected to be very disappointed with the DVC. Once I actually saw them, I think the DVC is accurately priced, but way over hyped. The added value is only skin deep. There is nothing wrong with them, but folks who thought it was going to be comperable to a true custom SV, Grunhauser, Freedom, Akai, Hayes, ect are sorely mistaken. I'd keep the Aperio...not even a tough call.
  3. I get that, but that isn't my question. Do you NEED to us all TTI parts as a system or can one itemize? Has anyone tried... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Time to rebuild my mags. I bought TTI springs on a whim. At first glance though, I'm not sure if they will work with my stock followers and base pads. Has anyone tried this combo? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. There is a local retailer, Arnzen Arms, who supports a lot of the goings on of the local action shooting scene and is a sponsor of this event as well. They are willing to special order any ammo you require and deliver to the match for free as the propriator and many of the team shooters will be there anyway. Contact Kate at sales@arnzenarms.com ASAP or check their inventory at http://www.arnzenarms.com
  6. I would say most serious single stack shooters bring more than 6 mags...I don't leave home without 9.
  7. Well that figures...I got it from an open shooter. If I use it in 9X19mm would I get a minor load I would be happy with or would it be the same all over again?
  8. I aquired an 8 pounder of Accurate #7 last summer (you know beggers cant be choosers kind of thing). I've been using the "starting load" off of their website for a 200gr plated bullet which is 9.9grs. That's about 175,000 power factor, and in shooting it thus far it is definitly hotter than I would like for a gamer load. I have backed it off to 9.7/9.8 grains and its still pretty snappy compared to loads I've used in the past with other powders. Am I going to run into problems backing down below the manufacture's suggested starting load? Will I get weird pressures or case-fill issues? Also in my shooting with this powder thus far, the inside of my pistol is coated with a light amount of fine grainy residue. Its softer than sand, but its granular. Its not enough to impeed the operation of the gun, but it is enough that its a pain to clean out. Is this type of residue normal for this powder?
  9. Has the maximum range been determined yet? Will Buck shot be required? Is there a maximum shot pellet size restriction for non slug/buck targets?
  10. The Why is, to try to equalize the two classes of equipment because they WILL be scored as one division. The hope was to keep Heavy going to increase participation. Good point Pat. In that light, I guess it makes some sense.
  11. I heard a rumor that vortex is launching a new tactical scope this year. Some kind of lighter 1-6x variant. Does anyone have anymore specifics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Grundhauser Gun works guns come with one if it is a full build (Not if you send parts for assembly)...plus as many as you are willing to purchase. Everyone tries to beat custom shops up on price, which doesn't give them much incentive to include mags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Is there a shot size restriction? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. For the record, I accepted the certificate as a representative of the JRK match admin team on behalf of the Kirkwolds who were unable to send their own delegation. As for next year, I think the slug and buckshot targets should be more challenging. Especially the slugs...those were chip shots Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. M1 is the standard that the Benelli reputation was built on. They should have never stopped making them IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. My buddy has one. Best production 3gun rifle I've ever shot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The purpose is usually to save time between shooters because it's one less gun to stage...and it adds challenge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. When slung, the rules are generally structured so that the 180 is not in effect until you charge the weapon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. At the end of the day it's not worth it. All the expensive parts and vast majority are associated with the top end. You are only saving the cost of a frame and trigger parts. For as much time and effort you'll invest you might as well have two stand alone guns Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Buy complete sti mags and tune if...IF...they don't work
  21. APF makes quality product. Their rail isn't the lightest, but it's definitely worthy of your consideration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I've been running my AI m2 for 2years as well and love it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I have one and love it out to 200yards. After that a 4moa triangle obscures a lot of the target. I've switch to vortex razors Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
