Please post your results. I don't think it will change much, if any.

Phoenix Trinity. They have a Facebook page with some photos and there are a lot of photos of their grips on Lone Star Innovations builds in the vendor section. I have a build in progress by Glenn at LSI using their aluminum grip with the aggressive texture.

"If you are edible for Promotive membership..." What does that mean?! There is a discount program called Promotive (promotive.com). Lots of different ways to be eligible. Go check out the website to see if there is a program you are eligible for. It's kind of a way for companies to directly connect to industry influencers and offer them discounts. If you're a pro of some sort, or have a career in a field that the company is interested in deveopling their customer nbase in, you'll likely receive some level of discount through the program. It's pretty good, but not always the best deal available. You'll normally see discounts ranging from 10-50% off of MSRP from 300 or so companies.

Brake cleaner is easy, acetone works well too.

I went from a tuned JM 930 to a Taran Tactical M2 and the jump was well worth it. I had to sell quite a few things in order to get mine, they certainly aren't cheap. It's proven to be the single best piece of 3-Gun gear I own. Having a reliable shotgun will improve your finish at matches, period. Anytime I've had questions, or wanted to tweak something with the gun, I call Taran and he takes care of me. The money spent is an investment for the life of the gun. With all that said, I shoot with plenty of guys who have guns that run just as well with not nearly as much invested in them. It's all up to you and how much you want to pay to play. I don't regret my decision one bit.

I have a question that's been bugging me. With a 5.4", what length guide rod and recoil spring do you use? Is it just a 5", or do you have to use one that is cut specifically for a 5.4"?

I don't have experience with that rail, but I do have a couple of the Sentry 7's. They've fit where others have required a little love with the dremel tool. I'm going to do a write up and review when I have a little free time. The owner is really easy to talk to and will take the time to make sure you're getting the product you need for your application. If you want to PM me with the clearances, I'll check them against my barrel tomorrow. I have a clamp on sentry installed and a set screw version on the bench waiting.

Here's the photo that Calico sent to Maxximuss: -
I love an excuse to put a Dremel on my M2! What did you do?

Change it all right before the Tarheel Challenge! I'll buy you lunch at the gas station if you do.... You can even get the fresh sushi! I would have never guessed that you were a BR and F class guy. All that, and you can throw a tomahawk!

Good question. I have never chrono'd it to find out, but I would think that a 10 fps shift is not out of the question with a big change. But... You're probably more likely to see a shift in zero from DA changes in matches across the country, even from morning to afternoon. A 1/2 moa at 500 yards really isn't that big of a shift. Most folks are doing really well to shoot 2 moa at 500 under match conditions with 3-gun gear. I would tune it and not worry too much about it. I think you're more known for speed than accuracy anyways, right? Are you consistently going one for one on shots past 300?

I always used Velcro and/or bicycle tubing. Make sure if you use the inner tube that it isn't too tight or it may activate your pressure switch. The tubing makes for a nice clean install that won't get snagged and pulled off.

Cool, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Did you get the new Sentry series or the DA series? I have the DA series on three of my rifles and I'm ordering a Sentry series for the one rifle that I had clearance issues with. The DA series just barely made contact on my Lancer octagonal handguard, the Sentry should fit perfectly.

SLR Rifleworks for the win. I've tried the JP, Seekins, Syrac, and SLR. I'm using the SLR now. They just released a new version called the "Sentry". It's smaller (shorter) than the previous versions and should clear just about any handguard out there. I had to break out a file for the previous version, but this one looks like it will be the ticket. The adjustments are very slick too, it only takes one tool and it can all be done from the front. Here's a quick run-down of what I perceived as negatives with the other blocks I used. JP- You have to use a thread locking compound to keep it set reliably. I tune mine to the edge and may need to adjust for a 20 degree temp shift, that's not fun to try and do the morning of the match. Seekins- I love the concept, but the adjustment faces the rear and I stripped out the screw trying to adjust it through my handguard. Operator error for sure, but it wasn't user friendly for me and I LOVE Seekins products. Syrac- You already know... And I didn't realize how much of a pain it was to push in that detent until I no longer had to do it. ***Just to be clear, I'm not sponsored by anyone! These are just my opinions based on a couple of years of using the products.

Invictus Practical dual and quad load carriers
Mberry replied to Rob01's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
I am running the 2.8 for load 2's. The way the shells are stacked, you can load two with ease. It's a slick setup, doesn't take much room and has a great balance of retention, ease of use, and adjust-ability. I still fumble too much doing quadload's, but I'll get it eventually and the 2.8 will still be a good choice. I'll be happy to let anyone try mine out at the regional this weekend. I'll be around the One Team One Fight side match when I'm not shooting, come on by. Kevin is really easy to talk to and answers his emails quickly. He'll also be at the 3GN Regional this weekend with product to demo.
