  1. I have 3 773 RH for STI/Para. No 771's. Safariland discontinued them and I thought I was out so I took red of my web page but the other day i found three in the box.
  2. CB, the swensons used to be crap but they revitalized it recently. It is a better part now. I got this straight from Dan Bedell. I am also a distributor for them now.
  3. It wasnt advertiserts. Top management sucked it dry. It actually went under twice. After the initial investors funds ran out it folded both times. It was literally sucked dry of capital. At least that was what i was told by some that were affiliated with the magazine. There was one person who made a boatload from the venture and it wasnt the investors.
  4. I cant believe this is even a quaestion. CZ for a production gun maybe. For limited, open and limited 10 STI is a hands down winner, no contest.
  5. I sell an arredodndo knob that fits on the old style switch. If you have the new click switch then there is no aftermarket knob I know of.
  6. I tried to get Jake to let us do the grip with some neon green to match his shooting uniform but he said he was taking my advice and switchng colors to pink.
  7. Benny lightned my bolt and did some work for reliabiltiy even though I never had a problem before. It really made a difference. I love benelli's. Just about everybody at our club has sold their remingtonjamamatics and went to Benelli.
  8. They were 125.00 plus shipping. Natchess was 108.00 plus shipping. Ended up 120.00 a 1000 delivered. That is some great intel, thanks, what was the S/H like? If you don't mind me asking, just a ball park, in case i need to finance an operation like this. I actually questioned my shipping and found out that if you order off the web you automatically pay for residential shipping. To get shipping to a commercial address you have to call the order in. I ended up getting 12.00 credited to my account so the total per 1000 delivered was 117.60. It may be higher the farther away you live from them. I happen to be in a neighboring state.
  9. The 13 may allow one less round but will work. Generally the 11 coil is for 40 cal limited mags and the 13 coil is for 38 super mags. #8 140 mags with a flat base pad can use the 11 coil as well. The follower makes no difference on caliber.
  10. You cant put a +2 on a 126mm mag. Well you can but it wont fit in the gun. Especially with a mag well. The +2 was originally made to go on the old 140mm mags which are only 133mm using the current day methods of measuring. They used to measure diagonally on the side of the mag. Now they go straight down the back. The +2 was made to make those old 133mm mags 140mm. Now the 126mm mag is a carry mag, flush fit. International standard shooters use these but most use a wedge base pad like the Dawson international pad. This get you one extra round and gives you a portion of the mag sticking out the bottom so you can do a relaod with a magwell. Dawson did make a base pad to make the 126mm a 140mm but I think that was speculation that IPSC would go to 140mm in std like we have in limited. As far as i know he doesnt make them anymore. If they did switch Dawson would have sold thousnads of them to all the international shooters who now use 126mm mags.
  11. They were 125.00 plus shipping. Natchess was 108.00 plus shipping. Ended up 120.00 a 1000 delivered.
  12. I just ordered 5000 rounds of 9mm American Eagle for 600.00 delivered. There may be some cheaper but I prefer the federal ammo. I got it at Natchess supply. I think this stuff is going to go way up in the near future.
  13. Anybody see anything at the shot show this year that we cant do without?
  14. Ivan, I think you deal in the Armscor stuff right? I dont want to sell armscor products. We spend thousands on guns and that much more a year in supplies and then the travel and entry fees. Why would we want to waste it all because we wanted to save a few bucks on bullets. I am sticking with what i believe to be the best value in the industry whatever the overall prices go to. I demand quality as well as a fair price and I always have thats why have used and sold Zero's for 12 years now.
  15. For one dont blame the bullet makers. Their raw materials are going up. Just hope they arent like other companies that use the increase to raise prices more than the acutual increase. My bullet supply is not unlimited and may run out by next week if they keep selling like they are. As a master distributor for Zero I can get you the best pricing on group buys. I do many of these around the country every year. You may be suprised how much you can save doing this. The more the group buy is the more you save. The amount you will save is relative to the current pricing and not neccesaruly compared to what you paid before. If bullets went up 10.00 a 1000 and you shoot 10,000 rounds a year then thats only 100.00 a year more increase. Not much when you look at the big picture.
  16. I see the point on both sides. Bottom line when production was started it should have been limited to production guns and only production parts installed. If a spring got worn or broke then you could only replace it with a factory production spring. And yes I did jump up & down and stomp my feet but it went ignored. If you want to start playing with new parts then you have limited & open to do that with. Production should have always been and remained a strictly factory production gun. The door was opened and it wasnt defined as to how open it could be, as the trigger work wasnt defined as to what could and couldnt be done. Now all we have is a production race gun division. We wont even get into where the rules claim its supposed to be double action only but we allow non double action guns to compete in production.
  17. I havent gone up yet. When I get my next order I will be forced to. So get while the prices havent changed.
  18. One time a guy in Nebraska who was sending out Spam used my email address as the return address. Every undeliverable email was returned to me. It caused allot of time deleting them all. I had the police go to his house and confront him. That didnt work. The spams had an advertisement at the bottom with his number. I did a reverse lookup and then searched for other numbers. Found all 3 numbers he had to his house. I left a message that I would do a spam myself with his 3 phone numbers with the header "Free phone sex because I like it" guess what the spams with my email address stopped. He knew what 1 million spams that I could buy for 50.00 would do to his phones.
  19. I would like to come but thats in the heat of Baseball Season with 2 boys playing. Is there a provision to enter anyway as a contibutor? Larry did do allot for the sport and i personally enjoyed his matches.
  20. I would guess about 9.5 grains to start. I just wish we could still get it in the US. They quit importing it just when it started taking off.
  21. Your traveling through so no problem. Something I was told by a chicago prosecuting attorney customer of mine. A local who has an unregistered gun in there car will be charged with a felony. Its only a misdemeanor for an outsider to be caught with a gun in there car. I just travel with my gun in a lockable breifcase. It remains unlocked and accessible until I get pulled over then I roll the tumblers. It is then locked and the consensus is they need a search warrant to get into it. Of course that isnt related to the airport.
  22. Havent you always wanted to Farm? Well got the perfect animal to raise right on the property line close to his house. A Hog Farm. As bad as they stink here in Ky in the summer down in Florida it has to be allot worse with the heat. I know this trick worked once here in KY. If you land is zoned AG then they cant do a thing to you. I would try to talk to the guy first and then suggest what you are considering if it doesnt work then follow through.
  23. Shooting with the Super Squad with definitley motivate you. Two things can happen. You will perform at a higher level or you will crash & burn trying to going beyond your ability. If you are able to shoot your own game and learn from them you will do better but if you try to run with them and cant, you will do worse. Just being able to have first hand knowledge of the way they broke a stage down can be advantageous. The other side of the coin. If you are an up and comer and a contender that they see as a threat be prepared for some mind games. Its almost like an initiation to see if you can handle the pressure. Start dishing it back and then you are accepted and it stops. At least thats the way it used to be. One time Robbie was joking and cutting up with me all the way to the shooters box. Well when he got up to shoot I noticed everyhting was quiet. If he could mess with my head I was going to dish it back. So next time he got up I was cutting up and joking with him all the way to the box. If you thrive on the competition and the pressure then thats where you need to be. If you want to learn from them then thats a good place to be. If you want to just have fun then shoot with your freinds.
  24. As the seller I assume liability for the arrival of the product I sell unless the cutomer doesnt want to pay for insurance or insists on shipping it in a way it cant be insured. Then I explain to them that if its lost it is their loss not mine. I just had an incident where i shipped a 266.00 package with no extra insurance(UPS includes 100.00 coverage in the base price). It appears this guy has a new neighbor and 2 packages went missing off his porch. If UPS doesnt get a signature they are responsible. They are paying the 100.00 but I am loosing on the rest. I reshipped the product to the customers work address. I was doing this since its been 5 years and some 30,000 plus packages since they lost one(pretty good odds, and they didnt really loose it) and they recently increased the insurance where the first extra 100.00 is 1.20. Trying to save the customer money on insurance cost me. In your case if insurance wasnt talked about then I would split it. If it was then the responsibilty lies with whoever didnt want to do insurance. The seller is usually responsible to bring it up and make sure the mailing can be documented or insured.
