  1. I had someone give me a bunch of music downloads, but they will not play for me. They are in a cache file extention. Anyone know of a converter program that I can use for these? They came from a very trusted person that did play for them, but for some reason will not play on my system. Thanks
  2. Last week I bought two packs of sliced bacon from a well known brand. The first pack I cooked was awesome, nice thick slices that didn't have a lot of fat. First time I had really good bacon in years. Couple days later I opened the second pack and thought I had opened a pack of bacon tissue. This stuff was so thin you could almost read the paper through it. What has happened to making a product with consistency?
  3. Ups and fed ex and the postal service have been shut down for two days here in atlanta due to our snow/ice storm that hit sunday night. At least you got an email letting you know.
  4. Yep, iced in for another day. No work again which sucks because I can't sell potato chips from home.
  5. Note: merged thread. So what is your favorite home brew? Right now mine is Folgers Classic Roast. Nothing fancy. BTW: I tried double brewing mine this morning, turned out a little smoother with more flavor. I brewed the first pot, poured a cup for a base sample and poured the brewed coffee back into the water chamber and let it brew again through the original grinds. Will have to make sure the chamber is flushed out afterwards.
  6. Thinking about picking up the Droid 2 on Monday. Upgrading from the Blackberry Storm. Anyone have the Droid 2? What do you like and dislike about it? Sorry for the slight drift of this topic.
  7. Happy bday Boz! Hope its a great one.
  8. Video doesn't look too bad for a ebay cheapo. Just need to straighten up the camera so everything isn't at an angle. Interested in seeing what camera looks like. Could you post a pic or a link to it. Thanks,
  9. Yes the two of them are true class acts. Have known them both for years and never stop amazing me with what they pull off. Thanks again Bill and Cindy.
  10. Just found a new Sylvania Netbook at CVS for $100. Only issues I see is it is running CE and only has a 7" screen. Wondering if it would be worth the hundred bucks just to email and web surf forums and view pictures from the digital camera in the field. Or save up another $500 and get a laptop. Could the OS be upgraded to XP?
  11. I would first contact USPSA and get their permission to use the name and logo. They both are copyright protected.
  12. Yeah, me and the family just got home Tuesday night from Show Low, which is maybe 20-30 minutes from where they were caught. Kinda scary feeling. Glad they are in custody.
  13. Mike, first off, way to handle the situation with class and respect. My wife and I were watching it together and she asked who is the bald headed guy with the ego? I quickly informed her of who you are and you had the right to have the attitude of a take charge kind of guy. Anyways, I was just reading some of the crap postings on one of my local forums (hunting & fishing mostly) talking trash about you and the show. So I copied your replies in the initial post and posted on that forum (hope you don't mind). Can't stand people talking trash about professionals, reguardless of the profession. Again, here's to a Top Class Shooter.
  14. I work for a snack food delivery company and work in many convience stores. This morning as I'm working in this store, I noticed a customer walking by, pulling his keys out of his pocket. By doing so, his keys pulls money out and it drops on the floor. He doesn't notice the dropped money, so I go over and pick it up and catch him at the door. I call out to him, "sir, you dropped this". He turns around and looks at the money and then looks at me with a look like I stole it out of his pocket. He takes the money, shoves it back in his pocket and turns and leaves without saying a word. Makes me regret giving it back, but I am a FIRM believer in Karma. By the way, the dropped money was a $100.00 bill. Oh well, maybe good Karma will visit me tonight by winning something in the Powerball drawing. Cheers
  15. The ad for this was playing on the radio all day today. This Sunday (6-6-10) 10pm on the History Channel Link for the trailer http://www.history.com/shows/top-shot/videos/top-shot-sneak-peek#top-shot-sneak-peek Looks like a few familiar faces in the finals.
  16. Yep, I feel your pain. I am a trainer for the company I work for and I get taxed almost 48% on the training pay I get. I have to train someone for 5&1/2 weeks and wait for them to certify and the paperwork to go through all the channels before I finally get paid. Almost isn't worth it to be a trainer. Did I mention I hate taxes.
  17. Neat looking specs! Speaking of specs, I didn't see where the lenses meet the safety specifications to be safe shooting glasses. Do you know if they are rated? Thanks, Oh, by the way, love the look of your limited gun.
  18. Woo Hoo! Actually had my name listed in the paper (along with like 50 others). Thanks for the link Mark.
  19. What stage were you working? When Michael said "...we had 7...", I think he meant the match as a whole. Michael was working stage 9, "Time It Out". I don't think there were any DQ's on that stage at all. There were 3 on stage 11. One 10.5.9 and two 10.5.2's. Yes, that is what I was referring to. Thanks Mark. I was busy trying to shoot this morning, so I wasn't able to respond. As I was just looking at some of the first scores posted, we have had 9 DQ's so far. Way too many DQ's this early on, but things do happen. Looking forward to seeing more old friends on Sunday and meeting more new ones.
  20. Just got home from working the match today. Will be shooting in the Am. We had something like 7 DQs today. Mostly were breaking the 180. Got to see some of the Super Squads come through. Pretty impressive shooting. Good luck to everyone.
  21. The news last night reported they were delaying the resurface project to next weekend due to everything planned downtown, weather permitting. Maybe someone with GDOT finally got a brain and used it wisely. It's worse than that! They're also resuming the paving project on the downtown connector (I75/I85) that was postponed a few months ago due to excessive rain.
  22. Nothing big to worry about as others have said. May want to throw some trail mix or power bars in the range bag to give some energy, also maybe a couple oranges to snack on.
