    hey Beven !!!

I like the lightweight design of the Glock. If you want a heavy gun, why shoot a Glock in the first place? The best Glock shooter in the world uses no aftermarket mag well when shooting LTD or LTD 10 and uses a steel (non-tungston) guide rod. I'll save the $ for ammo and practice.
  3. Tenn is always a fun match. I've not yet signed up, but I definitely will!
  4. Congrats! I shoot the hell out of Wolf .223. I've had one issue with a case of .223 and they sent me a new case for free. Good company! They do need to power up their .223 though

Was it Henry from SAW Custom?

    Glock 34 Sight Q's

Where did you get them? I see them on Dave S's web site, but there's no on-line store. Thx.
  7. Is that "100% ignition of every round in the magazine"??? Excuse my ignorance of ARs and their parts... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The reduced power JP springs work best with a lightened hammer. The AR hammer has a tail-like section on it. That tail serves a function on a class 3 rifle I think, but it's unnecessary on a semi rifle. It's hard steel, but patience and a Dremel can remove it.
  8. +1 Just cut off the "tail" on your hammer and you'll have 100% ignition.

    Terrorism

Some of us do, but the bleeding heart liberals sure as heck DON'T <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The liberals don't - and even the Republicans don't have the stomach. I've been a staunch Republican my whole adult life, but they're responcible for letting millions of illegal alliens into this country - many of which are criminals. Here in Atlanta, we've had three pawn/gun stores robbed in the last two weeks by what the cops believe are gangs of illegals. Over 100 guns were stolen, 20 of which were class 3. IMO, that's domestic terrorism. Who's responcible for letting that happen . . . We're in need of a REAL third party in the country.
  10. I use them and I've had no problems. It sounds like something is not adjusted correctly, but it's hard to diagnosis it without looking at it.

True, however the US markets went up today! That's a great thing.
  12. +1 Dave S. is a good example of what is right with our sport. He is head-and-shoulders the best shooter in his Division. He shows up to local matches and encourages all shooters, answers endless questions and is genuinely nice to everyone. He pastes, sets steel and helps tear down stages. If you didn’t know who he was, you would never know he is the World and US Champion.
  13. If you did it that way here are a list of Limited GM's that might not be GM's from Major Match finishes this year: Mike Seeklander Phil Strader Matthew Trout Douglas Bryant Chaffin Emanuel Bragg Estuardo Gomez Erik Lund Kert A. Gaskill Taran Butler Travis Tomasie Michael Voigt Blake Miguez Shannon Smith Yong Lee Chuck Bradley I would love to be in THAT list of non-GM's. You would have to drop EVERYONE a class (or two.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not sure what you mean. Take for example Travis. I'm quite sure he's shot 95%+ at many Area matches. I'm almost sure at least half of those guys got 95% or above in Area matches in the last season and a half. Those are the same guys that would be a threat at any match and with any level of competition. That's the level of shooter I'm refering to. They are simply on another level. Maybe we are not connecting on the math. I'm not saying it needs to be calculated the same way as other classifications. Maybe it's as simple as requiring two 95%+ scores in two Area matches in any one season (that's just an example). Anyway, my opinion is that GM should be based on major match performance, not classifiers.
  14. +1 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wish USPSA only granted GM status based on major match performance anyway. At the very top level - which the GM class is supposed to represent - it really doesn't matter how well you shot the El Prez in a club match. IMO - at that level - the only thing that matters is this: can you bring it - stage after stage in a major match. Not trying to offend any of our GM's (especially Erik - since he's local and much bigger than me) Just my 2 cents.
  15. Grand-Pooba class If there is such a class, I think it should be based on major match performance, not classifiers.
  16. Check out the Bushnell Banner 1-4x32, #711432. Under $100. I've been using it on my AR for 3 gun and it's been great. Still use the Simmons 1.5-5x20 on other rifles, but the 1x is noticeably faster and has a wider FOV. joe <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Joe - is that a ture 1x or does it have some magnification at 1x?
  17. Mueller Optics is supposedly making a new 1-4x variable. Read here: Mueller
  18. The only time I had a problem was when I put 9.4 grains of Titegroup under a 180 A double throw - not faulty brass. Ruined the upper, but I was OK. Don't EVER shoot without shooting glasses
  19. +1 That's all you need. BTW - Lone Wolf now sells a .090 serrated front sight that I really like. It's about $15.
  20. I handled a friend's XD with a trigger job from Canyon Creek. It was unbelievable! Much better than any Glock trigger I've owned or felt If it only pointed like a Glock . . .

    The Lake

    Great shot. What lake?
  22. Roger's 40?! Wow - it must be all that clean living that keeps you looking so young. BTW - I'm younger than you
  23. Thanks Kurt. Do you find yourself actually practicing with the V22? Is it a useful training tool - or just a nice upper that doesn't really serve as a tool in shooting a centerfire rifle? If it's the former - I'd buy one. Thanks for your thoughts.
